Shin Bet chief briefs cabinet on day five of Gaza offensive, says terror operatives hide in hospitals, mosques. IDF: Hamas increases use of densely populated areas for launching pads.
Shin Bet Chief Yuval Diskin briefed the cabinet Wednesday on the progress of Operation Cast Lead.
According to Diskin, "Hamas has been attacked like it has never been attacked before. It has suffered significant damaged and its rule over Gaza has been compromised."
Diskin also noted that large numbers of Hamas operatives are hiding in hospitals and that some are posing as medical staff. "Some are also hiding in mosques and some of those have been turned into headquarters, since they assumed Israel won't attack them there. Their weapons labs have been completely destroyed and their tunnel system has been severely damaged.

Well, Hamas demanded war and war they have gotten.
it’s sad that there are many well meaning people out there who are making the argument that what Israel is doing is not unlike what the Nazis did. To them, Hamas is innocent and Israel is the aggressor looking to kill children.

Those who allow themselves to be put in harms way as terrorists hide among the population are no better than the terrorists themselves. They should be treated accordingly.

No kidding. I didn’t see Israel launching rockets during the cease fire at civilian pops.
They pick and pick and pick......then when the fight really heats up, they whine there getting their butts kicked.
Besides that, hiding among the population, wearing civilian clothes and such.......cowards.
Maybe, if Hamas is weakened enough, civilians will just shoot the terror cells when they try to set up among the “innocents”. Maybe there will be a civilian “awakening”. Of course, those waiting virgins may be just a bit too much to turn down.

and that’s a suprise to who?
They hit kindergartens and playgrounds with unaimed rockets.
They hide in hospitals.
They refuse medical aid from Egypt.
They refuse to allow injured people to be treated in Egypt.
I’m pretty sensitive about dehumanization as a slippery slope, but to describe Hamas as animals is not far off.
It IS pretty far off......Animals don’t kill just to kill; they kill to eat or to protect themselves. To call Hamas animals is to insult the animal kingdom....
