CBS Radio: They make no mention Blagojevich's party, but refer to Larry Craig as a Republican
I was listening to KNX 1070 News Radio (CBS News Affiliate) just minutes ago. Their top two stories were (1) Blagojevich's arrest and (2) Larry Craig's conviction upheld.
For the first story, absolutely no mention of Blagojevich's party was made....
For the second story, Larry Craig was referred to as the "Idaho Republican"..
Not to worry, Chet. Soon enough, CBS Radio News will be a distant memory.
The only reason I can think of is that it’s not news when they haul in a Democrat.
Oh, yeah, Tribune is going bankrupt. Blog probably didn't know that when he strongarmed them.
CBS should be FREEPED. I.e. they should receive phone calls, e-mails and letters asking them exactly WHAT party Mr. Blajov—whatever-his-name belongs to.

I’ve sent mine. CBS is going financially bankrupt - which is a good thing since they’ve been ethically bankrupt for a long, long time. Screw them. We don’t need any of the so-called MSM, anyway. They all think people are mushrooms - keeping them in the dark and feeding them s***.
Its going to be a while for them, unless they implode...
But the MSM will do whatever they have to to protect Barry...

They must literally sit down and say “okay, we’re going to do X when it’s a Dem and Y when it’s a Rep.”

News is when they mention Democrat in such circumstances. Not mentioning Democrat in such circumstances is not news. If they fail to mention Party in such circumstances we can assume Democrat.
However, when I found the foxnews webpage, as referenced in http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2145522/posts, I saw that it was only the "Raw Data" of the press release put out by the US Attorney's office. So I guess I can partly excuse FoxNews for that. But still, why didn't they insert in their couple of lead-in lines at the top, the party of the wrongdoer?
If Blaggy had been a Republican, the MSM would be all over this with:
"Republican Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich (R)**, the Republican Governor of Illinois, was arrested today with his chief of staff ......
(**NOTE: "(R)" stands for Republican)
CBS should be ignored, boycotted, and write to advertisers telling them you will NEVER EVER buy their product if they continue to advertise with CBS.
Calling the CBS newsroom just makes them happy they ticked off a bunch of conservatives.
I have worked in newsrooms, and whenever a complainer called, reporters would gather around the phone and high-five each other and laugh.
Boycotting advertisers is the only effective means of getting even.
KFWB has also drifted leftward over the years. After I started hearing these “A Minute with Antonio (Villaraigosa)” things on the station last year I stopped listening. Aren’t they owned by CBS too?
