The Supreme Court will get a first look Friday at a little bomb with the potential to make a big noise. The operative word is "potential." Almost nobody thinks the justices, who can read election returns as well as the law, will light the fuse.

SCOTUS should:
1: Take the case.
2: Demand the copy of the BC shown on the truthorfacts site or wherever it was posted.
3: Rule that the BC is valid.
The Constitution is then respected for future such incidents, the precedent is respected, SCOTUS reserves its place as the final say on what is official, and nobody riots.
The electorate has already pissed on the Constitution, and the best the SCOTUS can do at this point is pick it up and dry it off.

Why should “election returns” matter to a court determining legitimacy of a candidate?
I’m a Christian and I believe an easy 2 billion+ people in this world are “wrong” (i.e.-not accepting Christ as the Son of God).
Should I reconsider simply because I’m outnumbered? This is crazy reasoning which the Washington Times submits to us.
great..I was born in Ohio but a birth announcement was run in a Florida paper for my dads relatives down there. An announcement proves nothing..
He also has a real, original birth certificate, rather than a recently made “Certificate of Live Birth.” That original document would have the answers to some of the arguments being posited in lawsuits (but there are other arguments of equal or greater importance, too).
The news item from 9 days after his birth looks genuine, but it doesn’t say where he was born. My bet is that Barry’s Hawaii birth certificate is a report by a citizen of Hawaii on a foreign birth. Barry was born in Mombasa, Kenya.

Hardly proof of citizenship. Could have been placed by the grandparents out of pride.
Why do you seek proof of birth in the newspaper and not the BC? Makes no sense to me that you need a supporting document to a BC. Pony up the long form so we can all get on with our lives.
So the justices are going to rule that election returns hold more power than the Constitution they took an oath to uphold?
The Wash Times article is probably the least biased piece that’s been out regarding this subject. I’ll give them a hand for that.
And yes....
We have to hope and pray that our supreme court performs their duty of protecting our constitution.
Mr. Obama is a fraud and blatently dissing our constitution. He knows it. And he’s laughing and worrying at the same time. His whole tenure in office will be a graying experience. It’s very stressful to live a lie.
Hey media, here’s a novel idea for you. Ask the Obamafraud to release his actual birth certificate. Ask he why he won’t?
Ask him what hospital he was born in.
I’ve got a million more questions for the fraud.
