This election has become a comedy.
They’ll stop counting when he gets a slim majority.
That’s what happens when you just move boxes around.
Someone probably got through to the Al Faken camp that maybe they’ll have to give some along the way to win it all. Math whizzes were scratching their heads on how Al Faken gained ground in every count.
Once the recount ends with Coleman winning (again), Coleman should very publicly declare victory and go about his business as senator right away. This should put pressure on Franken to quit with his frivolous lawsuits attempting to overturn the results of the election. From what I’ve read, the remaining counties to be recounted are all Coleman counties.
He was claiming he was ahead by 22 votes this morning, must not have been able to stop them in time. He is behind by 22 now.
bttt
The movie "Trading Places" comes to mind, especially when Al went face-to-face with the gorilla. One guess who would win the battle of wits in that one.
Al, don’t ask the question if you don’t wanna know the answer.
The saga continues.
Wake me up when it is all over and the Beast and his minions have left office.
How long will we wait before we take our country back from the idiots who have stolen control of it?

I’m so ashamed of my state. I’m thinking of changing my handle.
Absolutely. GOP senators should have a public breakfast or lunch in DC welcoming him back.
Picture the demented Frankenstein burning up the phone lines demanding that the Donkeycrat Senate save him for some obnoxiously effete idea of payback from 2000. Gawd, he’s probably even wedging Wellstone into the convo. And that’s what Reid (and more importantly, Pelosi) know all too well — it would be a six-year-long Wellstone moment with Fat Al front and center were they to overthrow Coleman.
Don't be. Outside the Twin Cities it's a fine state. Don't get me started, I live in Illinois.
With the Chambliss win, there’s no chance of 60 now, but Stuart Smalley probably thinks its a point of honor that he try anyway to keep pushing this thing to the point where it is bound to look “stolen” to us, and “righteously his” to him and his acolytes. He will see it as
“making his bones” in the Dem Party. MY prediction: he won’t win. As it gets closer to the wire, more and more people will see it as illegitimate, highly suspect, and too much of a deja vu to Gore 2000, and Franken will have to cut his losses, and settle merely for a minor bust in the Democratic pantheon of Losers.
Best news all day.
