Nominees are largely old doctrinaire Leftists. Promise to go after evil business; kiss the feet of the UN and beg for forgiveness; try to understand terrorists; go green; marry our military strength to what is fair; regain the world's love of us (I am not making this up); see tyat the "US leads by the power of our example." Same old crap.
Why Gates wants to be part of this train wreck is a mystery.

If something like 9.11 happens with Obama, hopefully that will shatter the view that America isn’t loved or respected and all that, and that this is the reason why America is attacked. Some seem to think that Islamo nazis won’t attack America with Obama as president. I don’t think that Bin Laden and his boys care who is president. They just want to destroy us.

My personal favorite is that the pinko commie rag in St. Louis MO, has been running a “contest” for students to write essays on what Obama should do as President. GMAFB - he has no idea what to do so the papers will ask students for advice. Just what I want in a leader.

Re: Gates staying on - he’s a good man. He cares about the men and women serving and wants to assure some confidence and continuity. That is the ONLY explanation I can come up with.
Hillary gave a nice little speech...I think that I heard the same speech at my daughter’s junior high graduation...say, is it me, or does BO more and more resemble John Kerry??

Susan Rice referred to "protecting American security." Does she think that no one will notice that she -- while at the State Department in the Clinton Administration -- repeatedly advised against acceptance of the Sudan offer to turn over Osama bin Laden to the US.
Based on his appointments, rather than his campaign rhetoric, Obama is in FAVOR of white collar crime, and in FAVOR of din Laden running free. Some change.
