Terrorists are holding Jews and Israeli nationals hostage in the Chabad House in Mumbai, India, IBN reported Nov. 26. Four of the attackers were staying at the house, according to IBN. Many of the attackers landed on the beach and entered Mumbai. IBN also reported that a television station in Mumbai was hit with gunfire.

T he situation is grim late Wednesday in Mumbai (Bombay) India where reports of more than 80 dead and 250 wounded are seeping out of the beleaguered city. Most distressing to the international Jewish community are rumors that an Israeli family has been taken hostage and three of its members killed. Also concerning is the silence from Chabad’s representatives to Mumbai, Rabbi Gavriel and Rivka Holtzberg. No one from the Chabad center has been heard from since the attacks.
The dead and wounded are victims of a sophisticated plot in which seven locations throughout the city were attacked by terrorists. Several of the city’s most exclusive hotels, a restaurant, train station, and hotel were bombed. The attacks come as the country is consumed by controversial elections.

The city, which is India’s financial capital, plays host to many foreigners and their embassies are assisting in the search and rescue efforts.
Lubavitch personnel in Bangkok, Israel and New York are working closely with the Israeli Foreign Ministry and the U.S. government to help establish contact with the Holtzbergs and other missing persons in the Chabad House area.
Mumbai’s Chabad House, situated near the sites of destruction, is a popular stop for Israeli tourists. The Holtzbergs offer a host of programs, including providing kosher food, to locals and visitors alike.
Prays for the hostages and their families. And I hope swift action is taken, because if not it will signify weakness.

The status of Jewish and Israeli hostages at the Chabad House in Mumbai, India, is unknown, IBN reported Nov. 26. There are reports and strong rumors that their captors have killed them. Eyewitnesses said speed boats docked right behind the house before the attacks, according to IBN.
Jihad Watch is reporting that a group called Deccan Mujahideen has claimed responsibility.

Terrorists attacked multiple locations in Mumbai, India, late Wednesday night, with much of the gunfire occurring near the Chabad-Lubavitch center run by Rabbi Gavriel and Rivka Holtzberg.
By 3:00 a.m. local time, police reports indicated at least 78 people were killed when gunmen affiliated with an unknown Islamic terrorist group entered a series of hotels, a central train station and other popular tourist sites and began firing. An initial police response was met by heavy resistance; at least three officers, including a top commander, are dead, according to IBN, the local CNN’s local sister station. Throughout the night, people reported explosions, which police attributed to grenades carried by the terrorists. More than 200 were injured.
Of particular concern to authorities is the report of two gunmen taking foreign tourists hostage at the five-star Oberoi Hotel. The Indian military was reportedly making preparations to take the hotel by force before daybreak. Another 100 tourists and three members of India’s parliament were holed up in the Taj Mahal Hotel.

One friend of Gavriel Holtzberg reported receiving an e-mail from the Mumbai rabbi at 11:30 p.m. local time, but no further contact has since been established. Chabad-Lubavitch representatives in New York and Israel are working alongside the Israeli Foreign Ministry, the U.S. Consulate in Mumbai and a volunteer team of local residents to ascertain the well being of the Holtzbergs and other Jews in the area.
People are urged to say Psalms for Gavriel Noach ben Freida Bluma and Rivka bas Yehudis, and anyone affected by the tragedy.

MUMBAI: Indian Army personnel early on Thursday stormed the two besieged five-star hotels in Mumbai to nab terrorists who had left at least 80 dead
hours earlier and to free a number of people including foreign tourists held captive there, officials said. Mumbai's Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) team was already at the Hotel Taj Intercontinental where the holed-up terrorists hurled a grenade towards advancing army troopers, the police officials said. Two terrorists were killed in encounter at the Taj hotel. Police officials said nine suspected terrorists were caught and two killed in shootouts following the yet another series of planned and synchronised attacks in the heart of India's financial capital around midnight on Wednesday. Exchange of fire "is on between police and terrorists at Taj and Trident. Our people have surrounded them and the ATS team has arrived at the Taj hotel," said A.N. Roy, Maharashtra director general of police.

JERUSALEM (JTA) — At least 80 people were killed in multiple, apparently coordinated terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India.
The terrorists were apparently aiming at tourists in the country’s financial center. They attacked using automatic rifles and grenades in areas frequented by Westerners including hotels, restaurants and the railway station. Some 250 people were injured in the attacks.
The terrorists are reportedly holding hostages in the Taj and Oberoi luxury hotels, and reportedly were looking for guests holding British and American passports.
The identity of the attackers is not known. A little-known organization calling itself the Deccan Mujahideen has claimed responsibility, according to unconfirmed reports.
A Chabad house is located at 5 Hormusji Street in Mumbai. India is a popular destination for young Israeli backpackers, who often make the trip after their army service.

There really are no words to describe the dregs of humanity committing these crimes.

Who against and where? Shooting that bunch of terrorists (oops, I meant to say militants) in Mumbai will result in only a temporay solution. Unless Muslims get truly involved in totally destroying Muslim terrorists, we shall always bark up the wrong tree. Before a massive retalition can take place by the West it must first grow a backbone.
What me worry? 0bama will come to the rescue and will carry us into the sunset together with all the RINOs and democritters.
India has nuclear weapons. Maybe somebody needs to turn Mecca into a glowing lump of glass. As a small token demonstration. Prove to these savages that their god is incapable of preserving his own holy places. Next Israel can crater 5000 centrifuges before it’s too late.
I know this is crazy talk, but these guys have really enraged me. Stop the pussyfooting.
