On Today’s Show...
Chuck Hagel attacks the Leader of the Conservative Movement, Rush Limbaugh, and says if he has all the answers he should run for office. David Shuster and E.J. Dionne agree: more moderate Republicans are the answer. Yeah, it worked for McCain!
Pearl of Wisdom: "I have an idea for Chuck Hagel. Senator Hagel, why don't you try being a talk show host? Since being a Senator and having people criticize you is so difficult, let's see if you can handle this arena." (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
Al-Qaeda's Zawahiri copies Harry Belafonte and smears Obama as a "House Negro." The terrorists are finally on the left's enemy's list. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
When we lose, everybody says we have to change and accept liberal positions like abortion. How come when Democrats lose, nobody says liberalism has to change?
Pearl of Wisdom: "So many liberal concepts are one way streets. They don't have to tolerate anything, not tradition, defeat, or a majority opposing them. They can protest and intimidate and get judges to overturn the will of the people if they want. They can try to destroy the churches that are populated by people that disagree with the militant gay rights agenda." (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
Obama builds a team of has-beens with a string of warmed-over Clintonites and rejected Democrats like Tom "Puff" Daschle. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here)
The auto bailout is going to happen, 'cause Obama wants to pay off the UAW union and Jennifer Granholm, but the best thing we could do for the domestic auto business is to ramp up domestic oil production. We don't need to divide groups of voters. If we want to win Hispanic votes, we can do it with a consistent conservative message. We don't need to pander to groups.
The NFL circles the wagons around Eagles QB Donovan McNabb, who said he had no clue a game could end in a tie. You wonder why nobody will criticize this guy...

Rush nailed Hagel for the RINO liberal that he is. I heard the comments from Hagel today when Rush aired them. What an idiot. Talk about hypocrisy.
God please give us term limits....and real conservatives to provide leadership for a new Repub party.

Amen.
This is why the party has imploded. And it's the central RINO principle.

We don't need to divide groups of voters. If we want to win Hispanic votes, we can do it with a consistent conservative message. We don't need to pander to groups. Rush is absolutely correct here. Despite rumblings from some *ahem* conservatives that we need to rephrase our message, (i.e., abandon our principles), to appease and attract those pesky independents, Blacks, Hispanics, pro-choicers, and even pro-gays.
These same *ahem* conservatives are insisting that Sarah Palin can never win over enough of the general public to win a national election.
If I were Governor Palin I'd be heeding Rush's advice over that of the aforementioned *conservatives*.
