I’m sure no one wants me to get on my soapbox but this has been foretold in the Bible about the last days events. The churches are silent because godly preaching is almost non-existent in these days. No one preaches holiness, hell, damnation, true salvation and like items.
However, I did see alot of programs on Christian television that were absolutely anti Obama...

Not true,,, my church does,, and I know of many, many other churches clear across the nation, including the world, that do. We have to remember,, in the book of Revelation,

I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, "Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the worshipers there. 2But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles."
There is the inner court, and the outer court. Only the priests set foot in the inner court. The inner court was where the presence of the Lord was. It was not in the outer court. The outer court was open to the air, the elements, rain, wind and so forth. The inner court was covered and protected. The fire of God was there. Listen to what is being revealed here,, this is meat, not milk. God wants us to judge not by the world standards,, but by spiritual ones. When we soak up all that is in the news today we get so fearful and feel like the end of the world is near. It may be. I do not dispute that. But,, we cannot allow that fear to control us into desperation and withdrawal. Our fear should be the fear of God alone. What comes in through our eyes, can fool our mind and hearts.
We have to remember the power of the media. When we see these things on TV they appear stronger than they are. There are events happening around the world that are not being presented on the mainstream media.
Entire governments have changed because of the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Uganda changed drastically in the early to mid 1990's because of massive revival. The walls that came down in Eastern Europe was the result of revival which changed the politics. I remember those crowds in the streets,, in Eastern Soviet block countries,, protesting communism. What I didn't see on the mainstream media,, but did that same night on the 700 Club news,,, were those same crowds going to their knees and crying out thanking Jesus! I saw thousands of thousands down on their knees with my own eyes!
We get terrified here with some protesters shouting and spitting and pointing their fingers! Chinese Christians have been living with the threat of death for years and years!
I do not believe that God is finished with America!
