I know this is a really old article, but I think we can learn from history. I'm sure the FBI's Hostage Rescue Team and the BATF have not changed, except perhaps to become more fascistic.

Between that and Waco, the feds didn’t try that s again for 15 years.

Oh, BTW: Horiuchi is still above ground.

Horiuchi
should have been hung.
If ever some one deserved a slow painful death.

They'll be back, and real soon.

And this was the Clintons! Imagine what 0bama will authorize and do! These agencies must be salivating at all the conservatives they can take down!

Six policemen entered my house (in the UK) last Friday - apparently under the mistaken impression that I was dead, having not picked up my post for some time.

I think various agencies with Police powers don’t really know how normal people conduct their lives.

Got me on that one. Sorry I forgot it.

...but it was the ONLY instance during those 15 years, and the cops were hugely over-prepared because of what happened before, fearing it would happen again. Turned out they had zero resistance in the Elian case.

Good thing to post every now and then to remind us that the BATFE is a rogue agency, really answerable only to themselves.

I heard the HRT members testify before the subcommitte on terrorism that they shot Randy Weaver because they thought he was going to shoot at the helicopter flying above the scene. I then heard one of the members say in closing how quiet it was as he lay in hiding and how he heard the bullet strike Randy Weaver and hearing the breath being knocked from him on impact.

It must have been one of them silent helicopters that Mr. Weaver was about to shoot.

When Randy looked under the hood, the male agent stuck a .45-caliber pistol the back of his neck and announced he was under arrest. Other law-enforcement agents piled out of the camper. Vicki Weaver was thrown face down into the snow and mud. Randy was taken into custody and later released on a $ 10,000 bond. Vicki was not arrested.

And *THAT*, in a nutshell, was why Vicki Weaver wound up dead. That is called "Violation of Civil Rights Under Color of Authority", the same crime that those LA cops in the Rodney King incident were eventually convicted of. Why weren't *FEDERAL* LEO held at least to that same, if not a *HIGHER* standard?

What a scary thought. The BATF under O’s thumb. Man, Ruby Ridge and Waco will look like child’s play. We just THOUGHT Clinton was bad.

The Federal Siege at Ruby Ridge
by Randy Weaver

Is an excellent way to observe your vaunted F.B.I. & B.A.T.F. up close and personal.

Good post TenthAmendmentChampion,
This and WACO are just two of the very dark stories of our history.

Just one of the very very stupid things Bush has done while in office.
Most likely Spector the RINO would have lost his election in primary had not G.W. gone to bat for his sorry butt.
Took what, two days after his re-election for Arlen to throw Bush out with yesterdays cat pooh.
I’d like to see his butt in stocks in a public square where everyone could throw rotten eggs and dog pooh at him.

I met Mr. Weaver at a gun show were he was selling his book. He was asking $20 and I pulled out my wallet, unfortunately I only had $7 bucks.

He just shook my hand and and said “no problem friend” and gave me a signed copy for free.

Come on infowarrior, you know law enforcement folks are not prosecuted for minor infractions like shooting civilians.
