Hamas: We met Obama advisers
WND ^ | November 11, 2008 | Aaron Klein

JERUSALEM – Hamas held a meeting in the Gaza Strip several months ago with aides to President-elect Barack Obama, but the terror group was asked to keep the contacts secret until after last week's elections, according to a senior Hamas official.

Ahmed Yousef, Hamas' chief political adviser in Gaza, told the leading Al-Hayat Arabic-language newspaper Hamas has maintained regular communication with Obama aides that even continued during the past week.

"We were in contact with a number of Obama's aides through the Internet, and later met with some of them in Gaza, but they advised us not to come out with any statements, as they may have a negative effect on his election campaign and be used by Republican candidate John McCain (to attack Obama)," Yousuf told Al-Hayat.

Yousuf said Hamas's contact with Obama's advisers was ongoing, adding that relations were maintained after Obama's electoral victory last Tuesday.

Yousef could not be reached by WND for immediate comment. It wasn't clear which Obama aides Hamas is claiming to have met in Gaza.

0 seems to be having a problem keeping secrets.

First Iraq, Hammas and now the talks yesterday between Bush and 0.

Leaks everywhere.

I am astonished. Isn’t this against the law...communicating with the known terrorist outfit.

I wonder what else we will find out about Mr. Obama before he takes the oath of office?

My stomach is beginning to turn. I have this feeling, also, that holds that many of the people who voted for Mr. Obama will soon regret it.

They may be press releases, not leaks.

Pardon me if I don’t believe stories for which the only source is Hamas leaders. These folks are always eager to destabilize the US. Let’s not help them by jumping to believe every piece of crap they spread about our President-elect.

I wonder what has to happen before the 78% of Jewish American voters who chose 0 are disgusted. Probably need to see Tel-Aviv in flames I guess.

Given the One’s history of communicating with foreign countries (and leaders) in secret and then lying about it, I believe the Hamas story has a ring of truth.

This becomes #4 on my list of treasonous acts committed by Dear Leader.

#1 - The NAFTA/Canadian fiasco (denied then confirmed)
#2 - Calling the Iraqi President to undermine the current administration (denied then confirmed
#3 - Poland - yes we will support MDS, I really meant no (hard to tell, but probably hanging our allies out to dry)
#4 - Hamas - undermining our security in secret (treasonous contact with terrorists, selling our country out)

In my book, NO information with Hamas as its only source “has a ring of truth”. Barack Obama wasn’t who we wanted as our President, but he is going to be our President, and I’m not going to help any terrorist groups undermine the President of the United States.

I have this feeling, also, that holds that many of the people who voted for Mr. Obama will soon regret it.

I have a queasy feeling as well but my fear is that despite the news of all these treacherous liaisons those who voted for Obama will continue to support him.

To Our Jewish friends who voted for Obama!
What goes around comes around. You will get what you asked for, A President and a cabinet, that will sell Israel down the river. Bolsheviks, dont care about Israel.

Muslims and Bolsheviks are teamed up, so Israel will have no one at thier back.

Remember, most of the people who supported Mr. Obama have no resolve. There are political and/or financial weaklings. They want results right away, otherwise, they will bolt.

These voters will leave him like rats on a sinking ship.

The press will also turn on him because, after all, they are rats. :)

I beg to differ.

The media will not abandon the one as there are egos involved.

They will not admit they were wrong in any way, shape or form.

They will ride this horse down to the ground. Along with the rest of us and somehow blame the repubs for their error.

I keep telling you people, you don’t know about reporters.

Reporters have no egos - they are too cynical for that.

They will not admit that they were incorrect; they will merely begin sticking pins in Mr. Obama one morning.

They will turn on him as certainly as today is Veterans’ Day.

Mr. Obama’s other supporters are towers of jello with no resolve to finish any difficult task. They, too, will become discouraged, and curse Mr. Obama like the cad he is.

Thanks for the post!
