Mike Barnicle, come on up here and accept this morning's Lanny Davis Award for shameless defense of the indefensible. You've earned it. Not merely did the Morning Joe panelist excuse Barack Obama's nasty jab at Nancy Reagan, he actually claimed that we need more of those kind of "jokes" from our presidents.
Joe Scarborough began the discussion by asserting that whereas mayors, governors and other lesser officials can get away with what Obama said about the former First Lady, it is unbecoming in the mouth of a president. The Morning Joe host also suggested that had George W. Bush made a comparable crack about a beloved Dem First Lady, the New York Times would have taken him harshly to task. Leaping to Obama's defense, the former Boston Globe columnist didn't merely don the wetsuit: Barnicle went full bathysphere.

I think I need to adopt the Spongebob Squarepants version of cursing and start using Barnacle in place of crap.

The key to attacking MSNBC is their advertisers.
We need not only a list, but a full on court press on MSNBC’s advertisers to let them know.
For example the effetly metrosexual olderman, se isolate him and directly target advertisers during his show.
They we move to the rachel madw show after that.
It sends a message to advertisers that advertising on the left results in NEGATIVE SALES. Advertising which repels customers.

Heres the real joke. Pull out the top top symptoms of schizophrenia and then review the clip a second time. Catch three of the symptoms? I did. Watch the crowd behind him...it was a very uneasy laugh and forced...they didn’t readily get the joke that he invented out of thin air. A joke which simply wasn’t funny. Thats number one symptom. Number two...there actually was a seance in the White House...by Hillary Clinton and her folks. Lack of concentration and memory is a second symptom. Third? Strangely worded or constructed sentences...like “...living presidents”.
Life was great as a legislature member in the state house or a senator in DC...because you could arrange your day and chill out for two or three hours to relax. You had your weekends. Between a medium stress environment, meds, and a fair amount of time off...you made it.
Now, with pressure on for eighteen hours of day, various meetings, policy development and changes and almost no real significant time off...you’ll have to improve your meds or find yourself tossing out more symptoms to the public. The comedians are going to find themselves jokes like this everyday to toss back onto the administration. They got used to it with Bush, and I expect no let-up. They have to make profit and they will take every joke you give.

When a liberal says something mean and hateful the media calls it a joke or a slip or a gaffe.
When a normal person is accused of saying something mean and hateful (actually saying it is not required) the normal person is condemned, trashed, vilified, ripped apart and forced to grovel, and then forced to resign.
