So much for the 1st Amendment...
Freedom of speech only applies when you what someone else WANTS you to say...

So they won’t say what they said exactly, only that it is bad enough to suspend them. Wonderful.
It’s beginning already.
I just wonder what the tipping point is going to be, and when the hell it is finally going to happen.

Just the beginning. Soon merely criticizing his policies will earn one a suspension. ...or far worse. Heil Hussein!

Unless they used the “N” word, I don’t know how this was truly offensive or worth a suspension.
Liberalism is mentally deranged. Negative comments against our sitting president, Bush, would not be punished.

...two students who allegedly used insensitive language during a social studies class discussion about the presidential election. It doesn't say what the "insensitive" language was. If it truly were bad, they would have told us. The students probably said something true, like that Obama wouldn't have won if he were white.

Hmmm, no quotations of the ‘insensitive’ language? Maybe it was just something like “What a moron, the only way the government can afford to give healthcare to everybody is to give them the power to tell you when to die.”

What if Mr. McCain had been elected, and some students said bad things about him. Would they have been suspended, too?

Officials at PapillionLa Vista South High School have suspended two
students who allegedly used insensitive language during a social
studies class discussion about the presidential election.
I got to hand it to Obama.
He's even got The Fairness Doctrine into the classroom before he's
been inaugurated.
That's REAL POWER.

This is gonna be such a great four years! The change. The unity. The happiness and tolerance we’ve all been waiting for. Of course, it might get a little rough for “Whitey”!!!

horse mumble mumble ship
They expelled 2 kids for saying the wrong thing-
that sure “addresses the behavior” - it scares the bejeezus out of the rest of the students from speaking up

If what they said was both religiously and racially offensive, I can guess what they said. In that case, suspension was in order.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ARE NOT FREE TO SAY ANYTHING IN CLASS!
This is not a free speech issue.

Public Schools are socialist hell holes. Period.
Any Freeper that does not know that by now is in denial.
Freedom takes sacrifice. Is it going to be you doing the sacrifice or your children being sacrificed to socialism? You do have a choice.
