That’s our fearless Republican leadership, always ready to reach across the aisle to be bitten. Who is he trying to kid? We have to all show “support” for the traitors, so that the enemy doesn’t take advantage of the very weakness they’re about to display?

We’re afraid of a terrorist attack? We already know one is about to take over on January 20th.

We should just institute a 30 day waiting period on all suicide vests. That should take care of the problem.

President Bush warned today that terrorists could use the government transition under way as an opportunity to attack, and urged his staff to give the incoming administration the support it needs to “hit the ground running.”

Hit the ground groveling.

“President Bush warned today that terrorists could use the government transition under way as an opportunity to attack”

I don’t think we have a damned thing to worry about, at least not in the near term. The terrorists have exactly what the want. One of their own will soon be President of the United States.

The big question here is..........if we are attacked after Obama is sworn in, would he know what to do and what would he do?

What? And risk messing with Biden’s prophecy? He did guarantee it, after all.

Only if they hit the ground running away.

Not one drop of patriot's blood should be spilled for these cowards. Not one.

Let them defend the country personally. Give them nothing.

What, were Billy and Bernadine seen skulking around the Air Force offices in the E-Ring again?

Bush Urges Support So Terrorists Can’t Exploit Transition Period

Bush is well known for his support and never speaking an unkind to anyone, except of course, his base conservative voters.

After all - we should all remember the courtesy and cooperation extended to George Bush during the transition period when he assumed the Presidency.

And don't forget the speeches and pleas from democrats imploring their membership to put their differences aside, to pull together as Americans and support the new president so foreigners wouldn't think they could take advantage of internal political disagreements.

Then, in the first year of the new president's administration, there was the willingness of democrats in the Senate and House to reach across the aisle and work with republicans to implement policies and laws desired by the electorate.

Ah yes.... Those were halcyon days of bipartisan accomplishments.

Too bad it only happened in Bizzaro World.

A little late for the warning. He sat back and let a terrorist take over the country.

Exploit the transition? I think the terrorists will just wait and exploit the next four years. But hey, that’s the change that America voted for.
