Not to be a jerk, but it doesn’t matter
These results are dated.
It does in the long run to be accurate.
Additionally, this could matter in other states as due to voter purging a lot of people had to use provisional ballots, so that plus military votes getting counting may give us a clearer picture of what we are dealing with next election.
No it doesn’t but at least we know that Indiana has not fallen to the Sith lord.
What is the point now? Its over. Wake up and smell the coffee.
We have much work to do rebuilding the party and fielding a better candidate in 2012. Its time to get to work on that. Palin’s a force out there, so is Jindal. There might be a young conservative candidate out there who’s the reincarnation of Reagan that we don’t know about yet.
But worrying about one state and who won it at this point is rearranging the deck furniture on the “Lusitania”.
These numbers are out of date.
No they are still counting provisional ballots due to voters being purged from the rolls.

I belieeeeeeeeeeeeve! John McCain will be sworn in on January 20th!!
All we have to do is flip 5 or 6 more states like this and it’s a done deal.
Yah,it does....to a degree.Bragging rights.Osama Hussein should have been able to carry every state that borders Illinois but now cannot make that boast.True,it's not as important as algore's failure to carry TN in '00 but this does matter.
VA did not count tens of thousands of military over seas votes yet
what was the difference in VA
NC has not counted all the votes but the AP called it to day and it is very close
and it does matter on IN as it reduces the win margin
I’m still stunned by state went for obama here in Fl as only one person I know voted for him and at my wifes work no one did
For more up to date results.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._presidential_election,_2008
has a count much higher than yours. I think the webpage isn’t up to date
well VA has to count tens of thousands of votes yet from the military
you can bet that most of them will be for McCain
NC was called today but it is close but they still are counting
lol
and...."the one that shall not be named"
What a motley crew.
“Im still stunned by state went for obama here in Fl as only one person I know voted for him and at my wifes work no one did”
As Biden would say, it’s due to a seven-letter word: I-L-L-E-G-A-L-S
well VA has to count tens of thousands of votes yet from the military
you can bet that most of them will be for McCain
NC was called today but it is close but they still are counting
same here iFL
we still are counting military votes form aborad and absenteee ballots most will go to MCcain
Just pulled up the website and it's true. The site said it was updated about 30 minutes ago.
yep sure do
same as the paul supporters who refused to vote for mccAIN
True. But still a loss nonetheless.
Besides, even if he did somehow win at this point, he’d probably reach across the aisle and give it to Obama anyway.
I’d rather slap Barr himself. Would be much more satisfying.
No. I want to slap those who voted for McCain in the primaries.
OK. Explain why the results in Indiana’s website that was JUST updated differs from CNN’s projected results?
>Does anyone else want to slap those who voted for Bob Barr?
Actually no. The only reason I voted McCain/Palin was because Ron Paul wasn’t on the ballot. I respect people’s legitimate desire for a different candidate. ACORN on the other hand, I would be quite happy to see some public hangings.
I wanted Fred Thompson.
Mitt Romney would have been okay or Duncan Hunter.
Has to be
orange county has a very high turnout for them
I swear that between my wife and I we know of just one person here in florida who voted for obama
maybe early voting got a lot out to vote numerous times
on our ballot questions including homo marriage it all went conservative
anyway they still are counting here in florida for the overseas military votes and absentee , of which two are my neighbors who voted for Mccain
I'll bet that you don't live anywhere near Miami,Fort Lauderdale,Palm Beach,Gainsville or Tallahassee.
LOL
sad but very true
I wanted it to be Fred v. Hillary. Even though I would have voted Hillary, I would have been more than okay with Fred winning too.
I truly dislike Ron Paul. I believe he is a kook in terms of foreign policy and his views on Iraq are very distorted.
Plus his crazed fans do stupid things like carve B’s in their faces and blame Black people or he sells his tickets to the Republican convention to Code Pinkers.

BooB Barr was the difference in Indiana, North Carolina, and probably a few other states.
Plus the 200,000 bogus votes in Ohio
= McCain EV win.

Not my post.
The famed movie critic Pauline Kael famously said that she couldn't believe how Nixon won in '72 as "everyone I KNOW voted for McGovern." You can't judge a an electorate by your circle of friends or neighborhood.
My parents live in Boca Raton, the buckle of the Bagel Belt, and all of their neighbors voted for Obama, so I am NOT surprised. Obama won the SE and the Orlando area, which is enough to win the state as a whole.
sniff,sniff
Many are saying this doesn’t matter. It cetainly doesn’t matter in terms of who will be president, but it matters in many other ways. It reduces the “mandate” the dems think they have. It adds another red state to the map, and most of all, it matters to those who live in Indiana who voted conservative.
I don’t think Keyes would have been better. He is the reason Obama was successful in his run for State Senate.
McCain never did get the most republican votes. It was democrats and "independents" that gave him the nomination. If the RNC doesn't change the way our nominee is chosen they are doomed to repeat their mistakes.
As far as the Bob Barr and Ron Paul voters I tell them President Obama thanks them for their vote.
you are correct sir/mam
here i good ole st Augustine, in st johns county
a very red county but saying that we are next to Jacksonville and we know many there and non e there was voting for him either
I have a feeling that ACORN was used
people voted every day through early voting
well done GOV christ
NOT
all ballot questi0ons go conservative and yet obama wins by a hundred thousand
doesn’t make sense
as for those old folks and snow birds down there in the south part , well I bet many of them vote in their old state and then in our state
some got caught last year doing it
Interesting for statistics freaks...did the Libertarians throw any of the close states (excepting Indiana) to Obama? They gave us Harry Reid, if I recall correctly...
This would be good.
It DOES make a difference!
I agree 100%
Although not everybody likes Alan keyes. YOu must credit this man for standing up to his principals and beliefs. When you listen to him, you know where he stands. That’s alot more than what you can say of others!
