Mr Emanuel, who received training in ballet as a boy, has shown no lightness of step in his political career: would-be enemies are advised to heed the story of a pollster who wronged him and promptly received a large, decomposing fish in the post. Reflecting on his own foul-mouthed, attack-dog style, Mr Emanuel has said: "I wake up some mornings hating me too." Commentators have suggested that Mr Obama, who ran a lofty campaign based on national unity and bipartisanship, has recognised the need to employ a tough enforcer to push through his policy programme.

Obie's selection of Ram (yes I said Ram) Emanual as his Chief of Staff is a signal that Obama will be continue to play hardball politics Chicago style. There will be no leaks or disention from an Obama cabinet, period. They will march in lockstep or else.

After Obama trashed NAFTA and promises to reward companies for hiring here and punishing companies for hiring outside the US - the messiah went and got the creator of NAFTA as his chief of staff.
If you can capture their expressions with your pic/phone and post them that would be fun too.
Looking at it from a neutral point of view, I think he’s a good choice. I always though a chief of staff should be an enforcer type, not well-loved. That’s what I liked about John Sununu.
But this choice doesn’t go with the “I’ll work with you” kumbaya motif Obama’s been shoveling.
I think the Republicans could use several Emanuels-we could have used a few attack dogs in this past campaign. We surely need them now.

In a way, this is good for us. If enough comes out (which will be the trick, we need an "ear" somewhere in the cesspool of an Obomba WH), it will expose these people as the thugs they are. Not that it will make any difference to the star-struck sheeple. Obomba is all about a Cult of Personality.
In reality, A group of Chicago thugs up to their eyeballs in money from all over the world is taking over the White House. The Republican Party better find their collective nuts!.....
