WASHINGTON — A powerful new lobbying force is coming to town: Barack Obama's triumphant army of 3.1 million Internet-linked donors and volunteers.
In a mass e-mail thanking them, written moments before his Grant Park victory speech, Obama put them on notice. "We have a lot to do to get our country back on track, and I'll be in touch soon about what comes next," he wrote.
Many are eager. "I'm going to be sitting at the phone, asking, 'What do you want me to do next? I'm ready,' " said volunteer Courtney Hood, 37, a mother of three from Owings, Md.
How Obama will use his ardent laptop-armed cadres is unclear. So is the extent to which they'll rally behind his priorities, press him for their own or both.
Joe Trippi, the Internet politics guru whose computer geeks made Howard Dean a contender in 2004 and who went on to design Obama's socially networked campaign machine, offers a provocative and educated guess.
Trippi predicted that Obama would use his forces, first and foremost, to intimidate congressional foes of his agenda, rally his allies and forge "one of the most powerful presidencies in American history."
Certainly, Obama reaches the White House with the biggest, best organized, fastest-acting grass-roots army in the history of presidential campaigning.
Moreover, because his Internet operation was miles ahead of Republican John McCain's, Obama's liberal-to-libertarian electronic activists are in a position to dominate the new political medium much as conservative Republicans dominate talk radio.

Oh I am so scared! Geesh, sounds like a veiled threat like that’s supposed to shake me up or something. Anyone can start a yahoo group and make postings and start internet lies and can be sued too. And this is the kind of quote that needs to be saved for the next election cycle for commercials and also for the civilian gendarmes/brownshirts that his highness wants to create. The thing about the next election, a well coordinated well documented campaign will be needed with campaigning needing to start soon with speeches, comedy, books etc before it blows up to the public level for voting. It takes awhile for the masses to get what is going on. Most Americans truly resent spying and privacy intrusions—something that was not brought up in this election cycle and the Emperor’s vote on this issue is damming. And with people beng hypnotized, it will take extreme documentation to get them to snap out of it. But it has to start now, like where is the RNC chair yelling in the press on something like this—what is the RNC chair doing? I am willing to bet a lot of these volunteers were college students. They are going to be singing a different tune when they graduate in 4 years when reality hits and there are no jobs for them - except of course in the “Civilian Security Forvce”

Obama Campaign’s website promises that “you’ll get the kind of experience that Barack got as a community organizer on the South Side of Chicago,” and “Camp Obama is your chance to step up and become a leader in this movement.”

Public Allies and Camp Obama are Alinsky training programs designed to build a core group of “community organizers” dedicated to “social change” in their communities.
Their charter will be to bring about “Change.” They’ll do this through threats, pressure, tension and confrontation — getting people “pissed off” — the tactics of Alinsky.
Obama is cloning thousands of baby Obamas — a “people’s organization” — and on our dime.
A “movement” — dedicated to social change by getting people “pissed off” — and there will be thousands of them.
If Obama should sit in the Oval Office, just what do you think he has planned for these guys?

The RNC chair isn’t the only one who needs to know, we could join forces with the Libertarians and the new Constitution party. Just to expose this. The biggest problem I see is the MSM again. Most of the sheople get their “facts” from CNN or Oprah. We need our own conservative MSM outlet, besides talk radio. Most talk radio listeners are doing something else while listening. Sheople watch SNL and the news for entertainment and think they are learning something.

Until we have a party leader who embraces the idea that partisanship is good and necessary for the health of the Republic, we will have a sick party and a sick republic.
That’s a good analysis of the libertarian support. Whenever there is a Communist takeover, as we are witnessing now, there is usually a sort of wild-card group that supports them and often does some of the initial dirty work for the Communists. In Spain, for example, the Communists were supported by the anarchists and in fact the anarchists carried out many of the political assassinations, church burnings, etc. that helped the Communists get power.
Interestingly enough, as soon as the Communists consolidated their power, the anarchists were put on the chopping block, too. The Communist leaders considered them too unstable and “politically immature” to be of any further help in building the glorious Communist society and they were liquidated.
I hope the army of Christian-hating (hatred of Christianity was a big feature of the anarchists, too) doper libertarians that Barry has recruited to do his dirty work are prepared for the moment when he decides they’re expendable.
