The "I'm pissed off" thread

Yes its a vanity!!!

Who would like to see some Republicans come out and say I'm pissed off we lost? I'm mad as hell, and would like to break something. I'm already mad and seeing Republican after republican come out and talk about the "historic" context of this election, ticks me off even more!! Hell I expected McCain to give a gracious concession speech; but I almost expected him to say "why yes I actually voted for Obama myself". I wish any republican would show some freaking passion, show that you actually give a damn you lost

When the price tag attached to the next administration is revealed, there will be a counter-revolution. Wait, watch and listen. The ball is in their court for a few days.

Challenge.

The GOP had higher turnout in 1980 than it had in 1992 and 1996.

16 million more people voted for McCain than voted for Dole.

Turnout was definitely down significantly from 2004, but it was not a 30 year low.

Here’s my thinking on all this. The FR is full of gloom and doom worst case scenarious about how Obama is goign to turn this into a police state, doctors going underground because of healthcare reform and so on, my guess, none of it will happen and we look like fools ranting and raving. Yes, many more babies will be aborted, that is terrible I agree, some bad policy is coming, but please, somebody record all these predictions and let’s see if they pan out, my guess is, zero will. Flame on ...

Okay, I’m pissed because the sheeple just elected a muslim-loving marxist to lead our once great country but a close second is the smug elitists at work who have been giddy all day holding their little whisper sessions within earshot! There I said it and I don’t feel any better.

I was highly angry last night. This morning brings rational thought though. Obama followers will be his undoing. When the checks don’t come in, when the troops don’t come home immediatly, when the unicorns and rainbows don’t show up, they will turn on him like wildfire. As far as McCain, he lost because his entire campaign was a concession speach.

Senator Jim DeMint of OK has issued a statement that nails it. The Republicans must admit their mistakes and get back to true conservativism. Being the dimocrat-lite party ain’t gonna cut it.

Although I voted for McCain I’m still not that all “pissed off” this morning.

Since there was not a real conservative in the fight I only lost a little not everything....Don’t get me wrong, between McLame and Nobama there was a clear choice....

However the Demoncrats didn’t get a filibuster proof majority so Mitch McConnell will still stop most crazy and stupid Obama plans in the Senate....

Thee will be no honeymoon period for Nobama...

Gridlock will rule.....

To be honest, I don't think the odds are good that the folks at the top of the GOP will try very hard to make changes. In 2012, we will probably run Mitt Romney or someone similar. Mitt is a good man, but not someone who will energize the base.

What do I do? I can't vote Libertarian, because I think some of the ideas and some of the people are repugnant. I can't vote Democrat, because all of the ideas, and all of the people are repugnant.

I'll continue to vote GOP, but at least for right now, I have no fire, no hope. I see decades stretching ahead of us and I don't see any sign of morning in America.

Yes, I am angry. I'm angry at the overwhelming number of stupid, ignorant people in this country.

I'm angry at the school systems that taught them. At the media who played a large part in the propaganda that helped elect obama.

I'm angry at the greed that brought us to close to financial collapse and helped usher in a Communist to be our president.

I will look for every opportunity I can to bash obama just like I had to listen from every direction the bashing of the past 8 years of President Bush.

I believe it. W got something like 61 million votes in 04 and McCain got 55M or so. Sure could’ve used the additional 6M.
