You can buy a lot of ground game for 60 million.

Plus, the anti-war folks were much more energized by their mission to finally get Bush. Fear is not as much of a motivator as revenge.

I can’t believe how many people I spoke to today who are happy, NOT because of Obama, but because Bush is finally over. I don’t hold to that sentiment, but it’s how we won in 1994 — republicans were tired after 2 years of Clinton and the democrats, and “defending the status quo” just isn’t as much fun as fighting it.

...(the traitor) appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men.

America was given a choice to choose between Honor or their pockets. Their choice was their pockets. It was right in the polls, the economy was more important that principles in their presidential choice. So our Nation was bought from us with our own money.

Hat's off to all you FReepers, your choice was Honor.

A fraudulent election waged by the Democrats is NOT a win. It is simply a fraudulent coup and treason.

"I was able to translate what he said. He kept coming back to vote, but wouldn't wait in line." Exactly. I pointed this out last night on another thread. The guy did not vote multiple times. He came to the pole several times but didn't want to wait in line. Come on people...find something more productive to do. We got our asses kicked. The GOP from top to the grass roots sucks. Why don't you go do something about that."

Might not be popular today, but thanks to you and the other poster for pointing this out.

Come on people...find something more productive to do. We got our asses kicked. The GOP from top to the grass roots sucks. Why don't you go do something about that. Spend time ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING instead of spending your whole day reading and posting on FR. Where's our version of ACORN?

Hear, hear. I totally agree. For the first time ever, I participated on the ground in a swing-state get-out-the-vote campaign. I saw how effective and rewarding it is to get involved, yet how much more we could have done with enough people to help.

I love FR and will still participate. However, on the long, depressing drive back from Nevada last night, I took stock of the amount of time I have spent here this year, and decided that my time would be better invested in preparing myself and my family for hard times, attending church more faithfully, and working within the Party to sort this mess out.

Well said. I’m taking the same reflective look at my life’s priorities.

What does say it about the FReeper community when the servers are brought to their knees on election day. It should have been a ghost town here yesterday. We should have been out DOING something instead of reading & posting. We’re a bunch of blow-hards. Me included...I could have done more.

In my opinion, if you did nothing more than pontificate and post wisecracks you ARE A RINO. Stop the bitching and blaming and DO SOMETHING.

/rant off (for now)....out

In your dreams. The guy admitted to voting twice. No other way to read it.

It’s not hard to imagine a million voters like him across the country, each voting 8 or 9 times.
