Congratulations to Barack Obama. America has transcended race and this is a historic election in that regard. It is now time for all of America to move beyond the politics of race relations and unite in common as one people. This election should finally put the race-baiters such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton out of business.
Conservatism has been put in exile. The decision America made tonight was a poor one. The answer for Republicans cannot be to despair and surrrender America to this onslaught of liberalism, but rather to return to Republican principles and remain steadfastly dedicated to the ideals that have made America the greatest nation on earth. Republicans must remain vigilant. The times ahead will be tough and will require it. Remember, Bill Clinton won in 1992 and only two years later Newt Gingrich and the Republican Revolution swept into Congress. It is time for an underground conservative revolution to begin. There will be no balance to Barack Obama in the Congress. The only balance to Barack Obama and the Democratic Congress will be websites like this one providing you with the truth that will be desperately needed.
This loss for John McCain brings to mind a quote from John Wayne. John Wayne actively supported Ronald Reagan's failed presidential bid in 1976. Nonetheless, the Duke paid a visit to the White House as a guest of President Jimmy Carter for his inauguration. "I'm pleased to be present and accounted for in this capital of freedom to witness history as it happens - to watch a common man accept the uncommon responsibility he won 'fair and square' by stating his case to the American people - not by bloodshed, beheadings, and riots at the palace gates. I know I'm a member of the loyal opposition - accent on the loyal. I'd have it no other way." As a great American and Senator from Arizona once said, "Country First."

Amerika will regret this
i believe the proper term is u.s. of kkk a.
Naivette.
McCain is a man of character. I disagree with him on much but he’s proved his mettle for his nation in ways I never have.
and he nominated Sarah Plain.
Godspeed Hoss.
That first paragraph is a stretch, we just elected a race baiter to the oval office.
LOL @ whoever thinks this election will put Jackson and Sharpton out of business.
The popular vote as of now is about 52% Obama, 47% McCain. Those 47% opposed to Obama make a good base to build on for the future.
$hit! He’s already got me working on killing myself. I’m on my fourth pack of cigarettes today. Normally just one.
Obama can not deliver to the moochers.
I’m on a fifth of vodak and a pack of smokes
“....brings to mind a quote from John Wayne.”
I was thinking of the majority of voters and one of his other quotes:
“Life’s tough. Its even tougher when you’re stupid.”
And yes folks, life in America just got a LOT tougher.
Well, that certainly doesn't apply to this election or candidate.
Do we have to rename the “White house”?
John Wayne had the luxury of believing Carter won “fair and square”. We don’t. I don’t blame McCain. He is what he is. I blame the GOP.
we still have a friend and ally in the US Senate—Mitch McConnell. Despite their past bickering, now him and Senator McCain can go back to Washington to fight against every unreasonable initiative put forward by the democrats. Perhaps the remainder of the Senate Republican caucus can band together in spite of past bickering and will provide a bulwark against Democratic extremism.
They will never be out of business.
I thought that the twanna brawley fiasco would have dealt the rev. a fatal blow, but he’s treated seriously as a “leader”.
I believe this guy has forgotten that dissent is patriotic.
Hussein is not my president.
And putting my country first means I will fight against everything Obama stands for.
Now is absolutely not the time to sulk. 47% is a GREAT starting point, 4 states are voting against gay marriage (including California). The struggle ahead is a hard one, but I wouldnt have it any other way. It will make the next victory that much sweeter.
