I think John McCain will win a squeaker over Barack Obama, 273-265, by holding Florida, Nevada, and adding Pennsylvania as a trade for Virginia:

Why is everyone giving up on Virginia? George Allen lost his Senate seat to a Conservative Democrat by just a couple of thousand votes in 06. Obama is anything but conservative. I still think there are enough conservatives left in VA for Mc Cain to win it.

I hope Ed’s right. I have faith in PA! Unfortunately, BHO has promised everyone everything and it seems a majority of the people want something for nothing!

Lot of government workers in Northern VA. McCain promised to freeze spending and cut pork. They don’t like that very much.
If McCain loses, no presidential candidate is ever going to attack spending or pork, because it is clear that people want it.

Between Palin and the constant insults of the people of PA by the RATS, it should be a landslide.

I would agree, but the demholes will steal PA, or sue in court tio get the EVs. Look for 120% turnout in Philly.

Sorry but I don’t think McCain will hold Nevada. Hope I’m wrong. There’s just too many Mexican immigrants working the service sector.

Amen!. On Oct 21 I predicted 284 electoral votes for McC and 254 the other guy.
In our office we have 8 McC, 1 Nader and 1 “the other guy”

I suppose, in an absolute squeaker. But those polls showing him leading by 5- or 7-points are steaming piles of feces.
McCain/Palin will win VA by 5-6 points. (If they lose VA, they're certainly not winning PA.)
