Tom Ridge Predictions - Steelers will win and so will Mac. (Steelers are up by 17 and Mac is back)

Tom Ridge called two predictions today. He said Steelers would win, and they are going to (they are up 17 in the 4 QTR) and Mac would win. If the Steelers game is any indication of tomorrow's election, I will say Ridge is right. Mac will be our next POTUS.

The Redskin streak was ended in 2004. The lost the Sunday before the election and Bush still won.

The LA Lakers streak is intact still. Every election year the LA Lakers went to the NBA Finals, a Republican won the election (1968, 1972, 1980, 1984, 1988, 2000, 2004), and they made it to the NBA Finals in 2008!

Amen! Mac is going to carry PA. Tom Ridge knows the state better than any one else except Fast Eddie!

Why is Leftwich in? I’ve got the game online but I’m listening to talk radio right now.

I’ve heard everything from tarot cards, to the type of cars driven that point towards a McCain win so just to calm everyone’s jitters before the election, I will root for the Steelers...even though the owner is an Obama backer.

Leftwich is in because of a hurt throwing arm with Ben.

Despite a slow delivery, Leftwich is doing real well.

As a Chiefs fan I don’t like saying this, but Go Steelers!

The underdogs supported by “racist” folks who “cling to their guns and religion” will win tonight and tomorrow.

Hmm, didn’t know about the Lakers streak. Knew the Redskins streak ended last election, though they’re still 17/18. If we win, I may have to start liking the Lakers. : D

The Washington Redskin prediction only has the highest probability of predicted outcome IF AND ONLY IF the opposing team has a name with the same forward or reversed initials as someone on the presidential ticket: Pittsburgh Steelers. It is also bolstered by the fact that in the ESPN interview McCain indicated that "he could...go...all...the way" just like the underestimated Burger King.

Well, if it helps, when I watched earlier, Steelers up 23-6 shut down Redskins, 4th and goal. Now, still up 23-6. And Steelers sacked QB with 4th and 8 inside 20 to take possession again.

Can you imagine that - Kobe Bryant and Phil Jackson lead Maverick to victory

LOL, why not! Contrary to the haters (all over, here in PA), it's not racist to vote for McCain (or against Obama)!

That is incorrect. The "streak" deals only with the popular vote.
