President Evo Morales has announced he is suspending "indefinitely" the operations of the US Drug Enforcement Administration in Bolivia.

Mr Morales accused the agency of having encouraged anti-government protests in the country in September.

If Obama is elected, this will just be the beginning. The U.S. will stop all offensive operations. We will return to a Jimmy Carter style defensive strategy as our military budget is slashed (Berney Frank wants 25% reduction), and Russia, China, and the bad actors of the world leverage their newfound economic and military might against a U.S. caught in malaise and recession.

If we seize the opportunity to drive the price of oil down further and keep it there and cause the Venezuelan people to get rid of Chavez we can get the situation under control in alliance with Colombia.

I’m not worried. Bolivia kicks out the DEA but I didn’t read anything about CIA, FBI, DOD operations being halted.
