Man I am so lucky. I work for a small company with hard core conservative leasdership. Many of us are CCW holders and carry to wrk. The president & CEO also carrys and encourages all of us to do so. We don't play no stinkin golf ... we shoot trap once a week.
Out of 30 or so people we do have two or three who had drunk the Obama Koolaide. We don't threaten or harass, but I know who will get laid off first if the small business tax kicks in.

yep, I work in Detroit and if they even suspected that I was not an Obama worshipper I would be in a very vulnerable position. If I was lucky, I would get away with only vandalism to my car.

Under a President Obama along with a Democratic majority in the next Congress, this kind of thing will definitely get even worse throughout the U.S.! There really is no way to completely measure all of the problems that a President Obama along with a Democratic majority in the next Congress will definitely create for the entire U.S.! Ignorant voters and stupid voters really could be the dominant groups on November 4, but I really hope that I’m very wrong about this prediction.
Ditto, except I do speak up among peers on occasion ... at lunch ... and none of this extends beyond convertation, I'm confident.

A labor attorney?? Labor attorneys are union attorneys and they will not help...she quit and that’s all she could have done to save her pride and dignity. I hear it all day long as well and I work with labor attorneys - one person had to take down a small 2x3 inch mccain card off her cork board but yet others can have door size obama signs on their office. Political affiliation does not rise to the level of protected class for discrimination purposes - which really sucks.
Take heart that, if Obama gets elected, your co-workers will likely be unemployed, too.
Come on down to Texas. Economy is still pretty good here, and we think straight.

This whole email thing was caused by a mid level Obamaite who took it to extremes. She wanted to get those girls fired....the one who sent it and just for kicks my friend.

I am (or was) an ACTOR. While on the set of a Period Film (1937) Director said to adlib while walking into the building. The man next to me (the only other Conservative I found) said “Our Tax dollars at work,” and I said something clean but nasty about the LIBS Patron Saint FDR.
“CUT!!” came out of nowhere.. Director grabbed both by the shoulders and fired us on the spot. This was just about 10 years ago, and haven’t been able to work in NYC SINCE.

I advise that you withdraw your resignation. Make them fire you so you can collect unemployment until you find another job. The best time to look for a job, however, is while you still have one, so not quitting is definitely what you want to do.
Why not stick around and become a thorn in their sides? Do everything EXACTLY by the book. That always takes a lot longer than normal work. And document EVERYTHING.

It's been discussed, believe me. I work on a contract and when it's done I will be gone for a long while from Detroit.
Needless to say, if the holy one loses I will not be going into Detroit on Nov 5th.
