Thanks for the input, Mom.
For the record, I want to state that I am arguably the most fair minded person I can think of. Growing up in Southern Ohio, in the 60s, it's no secret that there was prejudice. But I deplored that way of thinking, and that's the way I brought up my two children.
That's what has been so difficult about this situation, besides the fact that I'm out of a job. I feel like race is playing a major part in this election, but it's not coming from Caucasians, like me.
I wanted so BADLY to put the McCain/Palin bumper sticker on my car, but I was so afraid of the repercussions at work, I didn't. I didn't feel that way during the last election.
I will support any man or woman who has our county's best interest at heart. If Obama gets elected, I feel my voice will be suppressed, as I think it already has, by speaking my mind at work.
At the end of the day, I just pray for the safety of our country. I'm going to spend the next couple of days with a family member, as I made the mistake of posting my name on here. As for my issues with my former employer Dish Network, I'm still considering my options. I've heard so many different opinions on this thread, but if I could find a good attorney who isn't in the pocket of liberal causes, and could make me feel safe against repercussions, I may consider legal action.

Well, just wait until Obama creates his “Civilian National Security Force”. He will be able to put down any objections to his master plan. Go to Drudgereport.com and click on ‘Obama vows to create “Civilian National Security Force”.’

Having worked in government for too many years, I think you could have stated you were a conservative working in a government office and made your point that you have no peers. I spent most election seasons nodding politely while others went on and on about the terrible conservatives and the wonderful liberals just to keep peace in the workplace. After a couple early comments, I learned that tolerance for others’ opinions was strictly one way.

Can you honestly tell me that the EEOC would be fair to me, I'm looking at their website as I speak.
Forgive me for my reticence, but I think I have reason to be careful of who I trust in, at this point.

Amen CB!
Lisa, from what I’ve read here you need to go after these ‘ratstards!!
We need to get out to vote for McCain/Palin even though John wasn’t on the top of alot of lists early on in this cycle the alternative at this point is disastrous not just for all of personally it disastrous for the whole Country and I believe for the whole world.
We’ve seen what blind-devotion to a national leader has done in the past for the world during the early to mid 1900’s and we’ve all heard the saying “Never Again” and “It can’t happen here”....but it is also said “that those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it” and we humans seem to have short memories for the most part.
I’m truly sorry that you are in the position that you are in due to the BS actions of others...I’ll be one of many praying that GOD has other greater plans for you that will become apparent to you very soon.

Honestly, I am not sure. I have never dealt with them. I agree however, ya got to be careful about who you trust. Who knows.. at this point it might not hurt to look into it.

I know, they seem to be for the underdog. But will they be sympathetic to a Conservative? Most are not, which is why I've been hesitant to take my situation further. It seems all the empathy is only if you're a liberal. If I contacted the ACLU (not that I would, as I deplore everything they stand for), I'm sure they would laugh in my face.
Most “equal opportunities” organizations are for liberals only, and the rest of us have for fend for ourselves.

You should have let them fire you so you could at least collect unemployment.
All those good reviews an honors would have shown them to be liars if they challenged your filing by stating you were a bad worker.
Most state unemployment offices side with the terminated employee, anyways.

"Kind of makes one wonder if Obama is elected ( steals the election with the aid of ACORN) and they go for the fairness doctrine..they will also go after sites like this, try to find out who is really behind all the screen names and then come after all of us and herd us off to a re education camp."
They'll need to get ahold of the guns first. That will be the sign that more is on the way. Which is why it's important to not give them up no matter what.

There's a McCain yard sign in front of my plant, so that end of things is all good.
You really should share the name of the company. I suspect their non-socialist customers might be interested to hear how they operate.
