This is really intended for Republicans who did not follow the primaries on the Democrats side this year (because, well, we guess you took a nice long Atlantis cruise to Mars, in which case, color us jealous).
The same pattern that unfolded during our primaries is happening again, because the media has just one tattered old used playbook (written by David Axelrod, of course), and they have not deviated from it yet. What the media and Obama campaign did, in concert, to Hillary Clinton before every major primary is what they are doing to McCain/Palin now. Here are the top three media/Obama head tricks to watch out for in the last days before the election.
If you, collectively, can keep Republicans and other McCain voters from falling for these, we believe theres nothing Obama can do to win this election. The ONLY way McCain loses is if you Eeyores allow the media to keep you from the polls.

As someone posted on a Limbaugh thread, conservatives will crawl across broken glass to vote. They are terrified and the media did this. I don’t expect anyone to sit this one out. The Right realizes that and is framing the argument. And so is the Catholic Church for that matter.

How about this Barack !
Walking out of a Palin rally, I heard someone yell out “We are going to win this f’ing election” ! and people cheered.
Try to squash that enthusiasm big guy.
Don’t know about any of this, but just FYI: I’ve got a guy on the ground in Newt’s old district (his description; not exactly sure where it is in Georgia, but some of you are). He is (or was) up to 4 and a half hours waiting in line for early voting today. That was at ~11:30 eastern (about an hour and a half ago). Haven’t heard from him since.
I voted this morning in the DFW area and it was the first time I ever waited more than a minute or two in early voting. My area isn’t exactly the Republican strong hold my buddy’s is, but so much for depressed turnout.
(1) Calls for McCain to just give up and quit, because the race is over.
(2) Wild claims of Obama winning states that shock and surprise you.
(3) Repeated insistance that blacks and young people will decide this election, and they are all going to vote in record numbers for Obama.
Thanks for the ping!
All come under the headig of: ‘Whistling past the graveyard’
The BS machine is in full force:
* Obama buying ad space in Arizona
* Claiming CO is gone
* Claiming to have Iowa in the bag
* claiming to have PA in the bag
Don’t believe it.
Yup. Get people out to vote, make phone calls, offer rides to seniors who will vote GOP.
FWIW I live in the most conservative precinct of the most conservative county in Texas and we’ve had lines morning to evening at our early voting poll. The GOP never loses here but still, it’s encouraging.
A little entertainment update as well...JohnnyMc is going on SNL tomorrow. Not 0bama (surprise! too stiff and no humor) so McCain will doing the follow up to Gov. Palin (all the Mavericks in da house put yo hands up!).
That district is the Georgia 6th district. (click here for the map of it.)
Ignore the polls. GTVO!
GO McPALIN!
VOTE!
I hope Rush, Ingraham, and many others continue to let the base know not to listen to the TV that day, just vote and go about your business. Call others and remind them to vote, then turn off their TV, and do the same.
