Obama has removed three reporters from his plane. No, the plane wasn’t flying. These reporters were less than enthused about him. In fact, the reporters who were ousted had endorsed the McCain/Palin ticket. They were from the New York Post, Washington Times, and Dallas Morning News. I guess the Obama campaign only embraces freedom of speech when the reporters say the right thing about him.
It’s a constitutional thing, this freedom of speech. It’s one of the most cherished freedoms of the United States. It’s been purchased time and again with the precious blood of American soldiers on fields of battle all around this planet.
It’s a freedom that must be preserved. It ought not to be diminished by the smallmindedness of political power plays.

The reporters had not endorsed McCain, their newspapers' editorial boards endorsed McCain. It is quite likely that the reporters themselves were democrats. There is usually a big disconnect between the editorial boards of conservative-leaning papers and the staff.
