Race stuck in neutral
UTICA, New York—The race for President appeared to slip into neutral Thursday, as support for Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain moved only slightly in the last 24 hours, the latest Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby daily tracking telephone poll shows.
Part of one day's worth of polling came after Obama's 30-minute televised campaign pitch to voters on Wednesday, but voters didn't seem to react one way or the other. The contest remained static with Obama garnering 50.1% support, compared to McCain's 43.1%.
Undecideds or those who support other candidates increased slightly to 6.8% of the sample.
Even in the demographic subgroups, the race changed almost not at all. Including Election Day, there are five days left in the race.

McCain says his internal polling says it’s a tight race. We need to show up and Vote. The MSM knows the truth, but they won’t post it....
If I had to guess, I would say that it’s anywhere from a tie to Obama up by 4 to 5 points nationally.
Gosh, I hope that the GOP can pull this one out in the last hours. I pray to God that they can.
The thought of Mr. & Mrs. Obamaturd occupying the white house is enough to make me hurl.
Twas the night before elections

The pollsters know Obama is toast, but they are inflating their Obama numbers so they can blame racism when he loses.
Zogby is a bias polster. In other words, he is a partisan Democrat.
Zogby is going to be just as inaccurate as he was in 04.
Stop living and dying by the polls folks, McCain’s winning this race, and it won’t be that close at the end of the day either.
