We've all seen the blogs claiming how Obama's website does not use any name or address verification to validate credit card charges, opening the door to fraudulent donations.
Well fellow freepers, I just confirmed this myself. Last night I made a donation on Obama's website using my own credit card, but a totally bogus name, address, zipcode, and telephone number.
His site did not challenge this information, and the transaction went through immediately and it posted today.
His site also does not use the 3-digit security code on the back of the card, opening the door to more fraud from stolen card information.
For comparison, I also tried the same thing on McCain's website - his site recognized and rejected the false address info. McCain's site also requires the card's verification code.
Obama's campaign finance is completely corrupt!
I'm just beside myself... what is in store for us from an Obama administration if he's starting with a fraudulently financed campaign?!

And no I didn’t donate $2300, silly. The point is, with no verified identification, there is nothing to prevent an individual from making multiple smaller, untraceable donations and thus exceed the limit.
Using your credit card on an Obama web site has to be one of the stupidest things you have ever done. I suggest you quickly cancel the card before you get all kind of crazy charges on it.
Now all you have to do is dispute the charge.
If nothing else proves that this election is bought and paid for by the one, this does. It is out and out stealing money by the obama campaign. NO ONE does this but him!!!!

In my business, if I take an order from a customer who is not actually in the store, the processing company asks "Is the card holder present?" If the answer is "No" then a series of questions determines whether or not the transaction will be processed, including confirming the customer's street address and ZIP code and also the PIN number.
If these transactions are going through without validation of vital information, the processing company and/or the receiving bank must be in tank for Obama also.
Nearly any site will reject a card that the name and address do not match the info attached to the card.
It would have been nice if you had made screenshots of the Obama site accepting donations from, “The Ghost of Yasser Arafat” or Hugo Chavez and used Obama’s address for Hugo.
I think what you have done is very astute and would make a good story for some entity that, I don’t know, calls themselves the watchdogs of justice.
There is only one purpose for this oversight at the Obama website and we all know what that purpose is. Hannity, Greta, F&F’s or someone needs to get on this before they change the site.
McCain should at least run a quick ad on this. We need screenshots of Obama accepting donations from Osama Bin Laden to drive the point home. He lied about Matching Federal Funds and this Champion of the Oppressed will lie and cheat to get more money into his coffers.
If nothing else, we should at least get a “That is not the Webmaster I knew” from Obama.
This issue has been reported to the FEC, FBI, and DOJ. All will do NOTHING? Even with full evidence delivered on a silver platter to all three organizations, they look the other way!

Rashid Khalidi moved to Columbia after the LA Times video "party" with Obama. While there, Khalidi invited the President of Iran to speak at Columbia. It was Khalidi's way of giving the finger to the parents of his middle class students.

Call your bank and see if they can trace down the credit card processor who is contracted by little Barry’s campaign.
I would love to know if the name Vera Baker or Cape Carribean LLC comes up.
