WTF is wrong with these “repubs”? Even if his opinion is that she is unqualified, why say it? Why purposely damage your own party’s chances? Are they so desperate for attention or favors from the Obamaster? If you don’t like the party you can gracefully LEAVE IT, don’t stab it in the back. Worthless POS.

So I wonder what Hagel thinks of the ‘Rat party to put someone at least as inexperienced as Palin (probably moreso) at the top of their ticket? Not even the No. 2 spot, but the top. If the ‘Pubs are bad for putting the supposedly experienced Palin at No. 2, how bad does that make the ‘Rats to put someone at least as inexperienced at the head of their ticket? That's the question I'd like to see asked of these a$$wipes just one time? They keep harping about Palin, but whisper nary a word about Oblammy. I guess you can't, since he's The Savior.

Whenever I hear this crap, I can’t help thinking of a thirty-nine year old who had been a senator for a year and a half who was nominated to the vice-presidency. The media and elites also tried to destroy him early and were unsuccessful.

Eight years later, Richard Nixon was unmatched on foreign policy.

Palin has a keen mind and a connection with the people. Should she be thrust into the office, she’ll do fine. Like Truman, Coolidge and Theodore Roosevelt before her.

This is a republic, where leaders rise out of the backwoods to achieve great things. This country can be governed easily without any input from the learned and elite aristocracy.

Q: What do Senators Barack Obama and Chuck Hagel have in common?

A: They would both like to ask the United Nations to collect a tax from Americans to be used to alleviate global poverty. In fact, the bill is named the Global Poverty Act. The UN would get the money and use it to help out the poor as they see fit: by a Marxist redistribution of wealth.

Hagel’s wife is (Michelle) Obama debate guest

Lilibet Hagel, a Republican, has endorsed Obama, saying he’s the right leader in perilous world conditions.

The new ‘Obama advisor’ problem: Senator Chuck Hagel

.The Republican Jewish Coalition was able to cleverly attack Senator Barack Obama by using the positions of its arch-rival, the National Jewish Democratic Council. Obama is taking Senator Chuck Hagel, a Republican, to his Middle East tour

Here is what the Jewish Democrats said about Hagel :in March 2007

:As Senator Hagel sits around for six more months and tries to decide whether to launch a futile bid for the White House, he has a lot of questions to answer about his commitment to Israel. Consider this

.In August 2006, Hagel was one of only 12 Senators who refused to write the EU asking them to declare Hezbollah a terrorist organization

.In October 2000, Hagel was one of only 4 Senators who refused to sign a Senate letter in support of Israel

.In November 2001, Hagel was one of only 11 Senators who refused to sign a letter urging President Bush not to meet with the late Yassir Arafat until his forces ended the violence against Israel

.In December 2005, Hagel was one of only 27 who refused to sign a letter to President Bush to pressure the Palestinian Authority to ban terrorist groups from participating in Palestinian legislative elections

.In June 2004, Hagel refused to sign a letter urging President Bush to highlight Iran’s nuclear program at the G-8 summit

:Here’s what the National Review wrote about Hagel’s stance on Israel in 2002

“.There’s nothing Hagel likes less than talking about right and wrong in the context of foreign policy. Pro-Israeli groups view him almost uniformly as a problem. ‘He doesn’t always cast bad votes, but he always says the wrong thing,’ comments an Israel supporter who watches Congress. An April speech is a case in point. ‘We will need a wider lens to grasp the complex nature and consequences of terrorism,’ said Hagel. He went on to cite a few examples of terrorism: FARC in Colombia, Abu Sayyaf in the Philippines, and the Palestinian suicide bombers. Then he continued, ‘Arabs and Palestinians view the civilian casualties resulting from Israeli military occupation as terrorism.’ He didn’t exactly say he shares this view - but he also failed to reject it”

In 2007 Senator Hagel attended a meeting organized by the American Iranian Council which brought together numerous national and international policy makers in an attempt to improve their understanding of Iran’s role in Iraq and its nuclear enrichment intentions/capabilities. Others in attendance at this meeting were Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), Ambassador Javad Zarif from Iran’s UN mission, Ambassador Anders Lidén from Sweden, Nicholas Kristof from the New York Times, and a host of other distinguished academics, businessmen, nonprofit representatives and private citizens.

Senator Hagel supports a “pathway to citizenship” and a “guest worker program” for undocumented immigrants. On May 25, 2006 he voted for S. 2611, the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2006, which passed the Senate before reaching a stalemate in the House in late 2006.

On June 26, 2007, Hagel joined with Senator Ted Kennedy to support the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007 (S. 1639).

After Republican losses in the 2006 midterm election, Hagel penned an editorial in the Washington Post highly critical of military strategies both employed and proposed for Iraq. He unequivocally declared that “There will be no victory or defeat for the United States in Iraq,” and called for a “phased troop withdrawal”—making Hagel one of the most prominent voices in his party to do so
