I agree with you. Some of these press releases get me down. I find it hard to understand how this guy can be connecting with so many people. The press is definitely putting a spin on the truth. Keep the faith. . .

Do you think the Dallas Cowboys will stay in Texas, or head over to Nevada to vote? If they were able to honestly evaluate the registrations put forth by ACORN, they drop off quite a number of “registered” voters. . .

The honest polls show it. The more that Obama advertises the worse he does.

There is a history. Obama out spent Hillary 3 to 1 in Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New York, California, West Virginia, Kentucky and South Dakota and Hillary beat him in every one of those states primaries. She even beat him in Massachusetts.

Obama has spent 26 million in Florida and McCain is going to win Florida.

The more Obama runs TV spots the worse he does.

You can’t escape Obama, Directv Tivo Showcases, sure enough Obama/Biden Paid for by Obama for America, Two 8 minute spots: Michelle Obama, My Daughter and A Mother’s Promise, actually the latter is a 10 minute spot on Obama that was played at the DNC.

Then of course on FX, during commercial break, watching Sons of Anarchy, a commercial making fun of McCain’s angry looks during the last debate.

The funny thing on the Showcases, with the Directv Tivo you have two satellite feeds, so you can tape one thing and watch another, try to watch something on the other tuner and it is taping an Obama Showcase.

WEll he is certainly more conservative than Ronald Reagan. Reagan claimed his political heros were Franklin Delano Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy.

Reagan spent 35 years of his life as a registered democrat and gave large sums of money and campaigned for FDR, HST, Stevenson, and JKF.

It was in 1962 or 63 that Cap Weinburger and Ed Meese thought if Reagan switched to the Republican party he could defeat Democrat Governor Brown in 1966. The problem was how to overcome the certain RINO image that Reagan was sure to get. NO RINO could get the Republican nomination.

There were few Republicans that wanted to get near Barry Goldwater in 1964. They felt he was the kiss of death. but Cap and Ed Meese decided that if Reagan contacted Goldwater and offered to give a prime time speech that a RINO coming out for Goldwater might help Goldwater pick up a few votes.

So Goldwater gave Reagan a prime time speech at the Republican convention Rather, Cronkite and Browkaw heard how good Reagan spoke and decided the way to end his life as a politician was to paint him as a Goldwater clone. So they did. And Reagan in one speech went from a far left RINO to a Goldwater Republican with out changing a view.

That gave him an easy primary victory in 1966 but he spent the 1966, 1970 and 1980 campaigns trying to convince swing voters that he was really a RINO.

Reagan in his years in office doubled the natioal debt. Had his buddy Democrat Speaker of the House Tip O’Neal over the the white house weekly. Reagan after 1964 never once met with or invited Barry Goldwater to vist him.

I covered the 1980 Reagan Campaign in the mid-west. The reporters had a bet on who could get him to say the words “Senator Goldwater” first. No one ever did. The winner of the money was a reporter who got reagan to say “The Senator from Arizona.”.. but Reagan would not call Goldwater by name.

Reagan in his 1980 campaign stump speech claimed that he was the only candidate for president that was a member in good standing of a Union and who had been elected twice to the presidency of his local union.

Reagan claimed in his stump speech that he had no love for big business. And that he had not ever left the Democratic party.. His views had not changed from the days of FDR and Kennedy. He said the Democratic party had left him.

Bush is far more conservative than Reagan ever was. Reagan was just a much better speaker and good at telling any audience what that audience wanted to hear.

Bush is 10 times more conservative than Reagan. Reagan doubled the national debt and doubled goverment spending...
He was not conservative.

Bush is!!!

I have seen a lot who would. But, those were at concerts that had a Code Pink table and a hip hop type of show. I like the guys with “Capitalism is the devil’s wet dream” shirts. How did they get to go to the concert? No one gave them tickets.

LOL This is the same dumb argument CT has been posting on FR for many years. On several occasions he’s even called Reagan a RINO. The truth is, CT is the RINO.

I live in Arizona and I have seen nothing with regard to O around here.

This guy and the people he surrounds himself with are so arrogant and full of themselves.

I know lots of people voting for Obama.

For starters, my parents, who are registered independents and who six months ago, liked McCain. They are so turned off by Palin and are impressed with Obama.

Then there is the Greek community who is largely democratic—they are voting for McCain.

And finally, lots of bankers (not the higher ups) really like Obama.

Wouldn’t it be nice if California voters thought that Obama would win in a landslide so they didn’t go and vote for him? Then have California go to McCain?

I don’t believe that Rasmussen depends on registration numbers for his sample weight. I’m not sure his method is any more correct but it doesn’t depend on actual registration.

Could be part of his 10/29 spiel - giving the remaining campaign funds to the “needy.”

Think all the hungry mouths he could feed. Instead he runs commercials. It’s immoral.
