Bill Russell is committed to advancing the pro-life, family-security agenda in Congress. More than lip-service, he’s pledged to make the defense of families and innocent unborn life a hallmark of his public service.
Here’s where Bill stands on key family policy issues:
Supports a Human Life Amendment to the Constitution recognizing the personhood of unborn children, and extending legal protection to all innocent life. Supports gunowner freedoms clearly enumerated by the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution. He opposes any effort to strip or redefine these rights by courts and legislatures.
Supports a Federal Marriage Protection Amendment preventing activist judges from repealing the definition of marriage as “the union of one man and one woman.” Opposes human cloning and embryonic stem cell research, while fully supporting research on adult stem cell lines.
Supports the appointment of judges who strictly interpret the Constitution, not legislate from the bench.
Supports giving parents the fullest range of educational choices, including homeschools and private schools, without financial or regulatory penalty.
Supports restoring control of education to the local level.
For the first time in decades, the people of the 12th Congressional District will have a strong, outspoken voice for life and family in Bill Russell.

After seeing that the horible and vile Jack Murtha was still making crazy remarks again. I sent Russell $50.00 to help a good man get elected. I hope that all freepers send him 25 or 50 bucks as we need to get this POS out of office.

My district in Kansas is a Rat named Dennis Moore. I am supporting Nick Jordan for the 2nd district of Kansas. I know the guy personally and have made financial commitment to him.

Prior to all of this breaking in the last week, a source close to the Russell campaign told me that their polling had them down 14 points against Murtha. But that same poll also had some good news for Russell — Murtha, even with a 14 point lead, didn’t have support over 50 percent, and 40 percent of those polled thought it was time for a change in Congressional leadership. Further, only 24 percent of those polled were aware Russell was running against Murtha.
Again, this was before Murtha’s comment. Russell is now up with hundreds of thousands of dollars in ads, even as Murtha gets more bad publicity. Russell’s name recognition is probably shooting up, and Murtha’s support was already very soft, so there’s plenty of room for Russell to move up in the polls.”

Russell sure is moving fast in the right direction, but still needs some help, so if anybody is from PA, or has friends there, help him out.
