Gallup Polls conducted in 70 countries from May to September 2008 reveal widespread international support for Democratic Sen. Barack Obama over Republican Sen. John McCain in the U.S. presidential election. Among these nations, representing nearly half of the world's population, 30% of citizens say they would personally rather see Obama elected president of the United States, compared with just 8% who say the same about McCain. At the same time, 62% of world citizens surveyed did not have an opinion.

World citizens are more divided over whether the outcome of the U.S. election makes a difference to their country, with 31% saying it does and 21% saying it does not. Moreover, 49% of those surveyed did not have an opinion.

Conspicuous in its omission was Israel.

The world is notoriously anti-American.

How many of these pro-Obama nations CHEERED on camera on 9-11-2001 as the WTC and Pentagon burned and thousands of people were murdered?

How many wars have we fought to prove that we don’t want the world telling us what to do?

World Citizens Prefer Obama to McCain by Nearly 4-to-1

Only problem is, there is no such thing as a world citizen.

That’s very interesting, about omitting Israel.

62% of world citizens surveyed did not have an opinion.

So the vast majority of world citizens really don't care one way or another? Shouldn't that be the headline?

Why would they waste time and money doing such a meaningless, nonsensical poll? It is completely worthless (just like Gallup).

Who gives a bleepin’ FReep? The fact that Gallup even took the survey says all we need to know about them.

“Conspicuous in its omission was Israel.”

Good point. And this endorsement tells us what? That the citizens who riot and burn cars, (France), forbid religious freedom, forbid women’s rights, cut off heads of infidels, persecute religious minorities, (Indonesia, Pakistan, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Egypt, Lebanon, etc.,), and promote sharia law, (England), want Obama?

Seems like a great campaign ad for McCain/Palin.

What in the h*ll is a "world citizen"?

Let "the world" come to my door and I will give "it" a piece of my mind.

I have a message for the 4-1 world citizens for Obama, but I might get banned for posting it.

I will just close with the fact that Obama is a Stalinist thug who strongly advocates hostile black racism and anti-Americanism.

Because Obama is evil and hatred personified, I maintain the belief that he is the lovechild of Yasser Arafat and Malcolm X.
