Obama's two-faced statements on his involvement with ACORN reminds us of a scene in Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Mikado" in which Ko-Ko, the Lord High Executioner, must perform an execution to avoid the abolition of his office. The Mikado's incognito son, Nanki-Poo, volunteers to be "executed" to avoid an unwanted marriage, and goes into hiding afterward. The official Poo-Bah is initially quite pleased with his role in the purported execution.
Pooh-Bah: They were all present, your Majesty. I counted them myself. [Pooh-Bah holds all the named offices.]
Pooh-Bah: I wasn't there.
Like Pooh-Bah, Barack Obama was quite proud of his deep involvement and close association with ACORN.
"I've been fighting alongside ACORN on issues you care about my entire career," he told the group last November.
Indeed, in the early '90s, Obama was recruited by Talbott herself to run training sessions for ACORN activists.
...Just like Pooh-Bah, Barry now wants us to believe "I wasn't there."

Obama started building the base years before. For instance, ACORN noticed him when he was organizing on the far south side of the city with the Developing Communities Project. He was a very good organizer. When he returned from law school, we asked him to help us with a lawsuit to challenge the state of Illinois’ refusal to abide by the National Voting Rights Act, also known as motor voter. Allied only with the state of Mississippi, Illinois had been refusing to allow mass-based voter registration according to the new law. Obama took the case, known as ACORN vs. Edgar (the name of the Republican governor at the time) and we won. Obama then went on to run a voter registration project with Project VOTE in 1992 that made it possible for Carol Moseley Braun to win the Senate that year. Project VOTE delivered 50,000 newly registered voters in that campaign (ACORN delivered about 5000 of them).
Since then, we have invited Obama to our leadership training sessions to run the session on power every year, and, as a result, many of our newly developing leaders got to know him before he ever ran for office. Thus, it was natural for many of us to be active volunteers in his first campaign for State Senate and then his failed bid for U.S. Congress in 1996. By the time he ran for U.S. Senate, we were old friends.

They're not the issues that I care about, you stinkin commie. Here's an issue - why am I paying thousands in income taxes every year while most of your constituency is paying zero or less?

No he can’t! He went on to elaborate the ways in which he and ACORN worked together - how they helped get him elected in his first election and how he represented them in several legal actions.

While I would rather post this as a separate article, I will say here that what is happening to Joe The Plumber, just because he asked an honest question that elicited an honest but troubling answer from the bomma shows the nazi tendencies that accompany him and what will come to America if he is elected....
We were discussing why Obama went to Chicago. The discussion didn't go far when it was suggested he went for school. According to this statement,that isn't so.
WHY DID BARAK OBAMA GO TO CHICAGO? WHO SENT HIM? WHO WAS WAITING FOR HIM?
His Hawaiian mentor FRANK MARSHALL DAVIS was previously active in Chicago. It isn't difficult to believe Obama went to Chicago to join Ayers because of Davis's teachings and associations.
