I saw this on Drudge, I thought it was good news, but then I am not sure if we can trust any polls. I think we have to trust that the American people are not so dumb to actually vote for a Communist, but then again I have seen many dumb people lately.

Dupe thread, but that’s ok.

Notice the oversampling. Someone did the math on the other thread, showing that if the sampling were even,

it would be Mac 49, Zero 37

Any poll, rigged or otherwise, that has BO under 50% is good news, because it demonstrates that he cannot close the sale, he closes very poorly & demonstrates to the MSM that this race is not over.

I’m still young (22), but I’m hoping someone can help me out. I voted in the ‘04 election (for W.), but I didn’t really follow the race as closely as I am this time around. Isn’t it commonplace for the MSM to put out polls suggesting the Dem candidate is lightyears ahead when there is a month or so to go before the election, but as the date draws near they correct the skews in the polls to reflect something that more closely resembles the truth?

I’m done with polls, I think they’re inaccurate, based on an outmoded sampling technique (landline phones), and self-serving to the political interests of the pollsters.

So to be consistent, I can’t get excited even when the trend is favorable.

So? The poll I conducted at my work place shows the O with 15%, McCain 80% and Other or Nonyabidnez 5%.

The other day I was at a Michael’s Store waiting, waiting, waiting. This family was buying items to decorate.... scary decorations for Halloween. The little girl about 8 and Hispanic said “we should put an Obama sticker up with that”.

The Lord came to me in the deep of the night and told me to look up Gen.11 the history the tower of Babel. He told me to pray for the spirit of the tower of Babel to fall upon the enemy and seek who seek to be higher than God!

4And they said, Come, let us build us a city and a tower whose top reaches into the sky, and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered over the whole earth.

5And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.

6And the Lord said, Behold, they are one people and they have [a]all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do, and now nothing they have imagined they can do will be impossible for them.

7Come, let Us go down and there confound (mix up, confuse) their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

8So the Lord scattered them abroad from that place upon the face of the whole earth, and they gave up building the city.

9Therefore the name of it was called Babel--because there the Lord confounded the language of all the earth; and from that place the Lord scattered them abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

Father I pray that the spirit of the Tower of Babel fall upon Obama's camp and those who hear them will be confused as well. For the enemy has many decieving tongues! In Jesus name...Amen!

Fauxbama is done folks, it was never close.

The polls will start to fix their sampling problems and McCain clearly has momentum coming out of the third debate and as long as he stays on message and keeps hittin Fauxbama... its over.

Plumber Joe is now being attacked by the liberals like he’s the anti-christ, and just like they did to Palin they are going to give him another 2-3 points in the polls and average folks get disgusted by their behaviors.

Politics is a game you play to the bell, and Fauxbama failed to close the deal, you are going to see those undecideds and there are a big percentage of them even in the cooked polls, break for McCain. When you break late, you break for known entities, not for unknowns. If you were going to break for an unknown you would have already done it.

McCain’s re-energized his base and Joe the plumber once again exposed the truth about the media and fauxbama.

Fauxbama cannot win with an energized republican base... period. The only way he could ever win would be if republican’s stayed home because they were dejected, in large numbers... STAY POSITIVE FOLKS... Get out to vote, make sure others you know do to.

It started earlier this week.

New “FReepers” would incorrectly title and double post polls, to provide an opportunity for fellow travelers to flood in and make “reluctantly” discouraging comments.

The stratagem didn't really work then, but it sure as hell isn't working now that McCain's on the march.

Before this thing is over, if Obama sees himself behind in the polls (internal) or tied, I have a feeling that Keating 5 will come out the week before the election in a BIG way before McCain can correct the record.

AND it will be tied to the current financial crisis.

I think that’s Obama’s last card to play. He pulled it out when Ayers came out. But not in a big way. Notice that he had a 20 minute infomercial ready to go at moment’s notice. He’ll pull it out again.

Never underestimate the stupidity and ignorance of the American voter. There are people who will vote for a candidate based on their looks or who's taller or who has better hair - in fact, they just released a study showing that a certain percentage of voters determine a candidates trustworthiness based on less than a 1/10 of a second "flash" of the person's picture.

People are morons. And the vast majority of the American electorate are dumb as stumps. A Democracy cannot survive such an uninformed, ignorant electorate, which is exactly what the Democrats are counting on.

You are 100% absolutely correct. This is also where questionable ties come to play. Conservatives want honest and clear leadership in the WhiteHouse. Independents don't want a President with a shady past either. It troubles them.

But there's no way that Obama wins with Conservatives making time to vote for him. Definitely not with the PUMA factor. How he wins is with voter fraud. That is the big wild card, especially in the battleground states. It could make us lose Ohio in particular.

That is exactly right. The purpose of DriveByMedia (MSM) polls for most of the campaign season is to influence voters since many voters simply go with the majority. But in the end they also want to be correct for future credibility. So the truth is slowly let out as the election draws near, with the most accurate(honest) results coming out only 24-48 hours before the election.

Exactly. A week or so ago this poll was very lopsided Obama and people thought it was BS. Now a lot of those same people want to believe it.

This is the umpteenth time Obama had a big lead, then McCain closed, then Obama opened up a big lead again. I truly believe we're being manipulated and the seesaw pattern will continue up until the final days before the election.

I am still waiting for a barrage of McCain ads in PA. Obama has 4-5 ads per hour to McCain's 1.

Tye interviewed a total of 1759 adults, and 1528 registered voters.

Well they broke it down as 873 D, and 650 R, so that’s 1523, so I assume the other 5 registered were I/Other.

So that’s a sampling of 57%D, 42.5%R and .003% I

So with a sampling margin of nearly 15%, Fauxbama’s up 2????

Fauxbama cannot win this election folks, the polls are slowly begining to show reality! If hes only up 2 with that sort of margin, he’s toast folks.

Preach on, Brother Boagenes!!! I have been (as some in my circle call it) ranting and raving about the fact that a stupid populace is an easily dominated populace for years. And, since we foolishly ceded the education system to the leftists, that system has produced - on the whole - a less and less educated populace. And, that’s being generous.

The ineptitude & dangerous threat of the worst public education system on record MUST be redressed...and post haste!!

Pretty much...

As the election nears no pollster wants to be that badly off, so they fix their blatantly bad sampling numbers. If you see any poll where D’s are being sampled at a rate more than maybe 4-5 points more than republicans, every point above that, take away from the D in the results and add it to the R.

In this case, they oversampled democrats by 15% and still only showed a 2 point gain? That would suggest McCain’s up 8.. now I don’t buy that, so I suspect their is something else wrong with this poll, but clearly it indicates, if the poll is to be believed, that McCain is winning the race quite handily.

Absolutely. The pollster that most accurately predicts the outcome of the election a day or two before gets bragging rights and a lot of air time afterward, even though he was wildly off on all his previous polls.
