New Mexico The Republican Party of New Mexico alleges 28 people voted fraudulently in one Albuquerque state House district in the June Democratic primary.
Party representatives said at a news conference Thursday they found the suspect voters in a review of 92 newly registered voters in House District 13.
We really have a bombshell evidence of voter fraud in the 2008 primary in Albuquerque, said State Rep. Justine Fox-Young, an Albuquerque Republican.
Fox-Young said several of the suspect voters were registered by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, known as ACORN, an advocacy group for low-income people that has come under fire in recent weeks for its voter registration practices.
On Thursday, the FBI announced a national investigation into whether ACORN has helped foster voter registration fraud. The organization also is being investigated for fraud in Nevada, Connecticut, Missouri and at least five other states. Election officials also have recently questioned the groups voter forms in Ohio and North Carolina.
Iam shocked our voting process has become the joke of the free world.
It doesn’t matter ... if someone had video of Obama munching on the livers of bodies he had stored in his garage it would be explained away as the direct result of the failed Bush economy.
The DOJ will be onto this by 2010.
Did NONE of you get the memo? All DNC criminal activity
is to be IGNORED by President Bush and his “justice” Dept.
Or that it happened when he was 8 years old.
Call Jimmy Carter!
.
And racism.
Keep it up. I like this press converage.
By election time, the public will view voter fraud / Obama / ACORN / DNC as all one in the same.
For RICO, doesn’t it have to be a coordinated and systematic effort to undermine the law? If this isn’t addressed by RICO, I don’t what would be. The procedure is nearly identical in many states.
Only 28 out of 92 were fraudulent? What's the big deal?
.
And he’d ALSO blame Bush for the price of fava beans and nice chianti’s. . . .
Only a third of them are fraudulent? I would have expected at least half!

DUH!!!! What a dope. Living on another planet in 2000 and 2004 were you? Just as I feared we will come down to another very important election and find that absolutely nothing has been done to improve the integrity of the voting process. This is big news to them every election cycle. If McCain/Palin wanted to tap into a storm of latent passion and support, they should commit to reform this election crap. It is a disgrace and a joke thet we allow this stuff to continue year after year. A stupid politician that would think this is a bombshell is too stupid to serve. How about pointing Sarah at this issue.
This hurts at a basic level. The Constitution is being attacked. The right to vote (once) is our most precious asset. Confidence in a fair voting system is critical.
People who vote more than once should be prosecuted and jailed. It shouldn’t be very hard to find a few examples of people voting in more than one state.
The convictions should then be widely advertised so people realize their are consequences to committing this felony. Right now, nobody thinks they’ll be caught or, if caught, prosecuted. I suspect most of the perpetrators are young students viewing it as kind of a prank.
This won’t stop it from happening, but it would vastly reduce the willingness of a lot of people from participate.

Correction:
Bush TRIED to force his AG’s to investigate 2004 Voter Fraud, but he was CRUCIFIED by the Media for firing those who wouldn’t, if you recall. Congressional Hearings televised for propoganda, the whole bit.
