Wilmington, N.C.— The press I'm sitting near is atwitter about a lone sign found outside, leaning against a planter, that mentioned Barack Obama and Osama bin Laden.
No such signs made it inside, as far as I could tell, and the rally was standard, patriotic fare, as McCain-Palin fans chanted "U-S-A" and "John McCain."
Cindy McCain started off with a crowd pleaser, referencing a "Read my lipstick" sign in the stands, saying "I'm wearing lipstick, too. I love it." Someone shouted, "Lipstick!"
As McCain began his remarks, a woman shouted, "Fight back, John!"
McCain listed many of the nation's challenges, referring to these as "hard times," and someone in the audience shouted, "That's why we need you!"
"We have to fight and we will fight, my friends," he said to a shout of "Thank you!"
As McCain talked about his desire to keep taxes low for small businesses, a man shouted, "God bless you!"
He delivered a line about not sending $700 billion to countries that don't like us very much, and was overwhelmed by "Drill, baby, drill," and stomping.
When McCain went over the state of the race, and the national media writing the campaign off, the media earned the biggest boo of the day, while supporters shouted, "You're a fighter, John!," and "You're a hero!"
McCain closed by imploring voters to fight for their country, to be courageous, and not to give up, and a woman shouted, "Freedom!"
Scary, angry, mob-like stuff, this.

...It's like Hannity said earlier today in a conversation with former Congressman J. C. Watts (who for all intents and purposes sounded like he wasn't voting for 0bama), the MSM have edited and cherry picked people waiting in line, some of those possibly being 0bama/DNC plants.
I was flipping through the tv channels this evening and saw McCain’s rally in Virginia on Fox and noticed a big sign being held up by someone close to the front that said NOBAMA, then I flipped over to Cnn and they were showing the same rally from the same angle and the same man’s sign was all white and blurry so that you couldn’t read what it said. Obviously no bias there. Hope you can find it and put it on your show.

If the media can’t be neutral and objective then they need to register as political action groups and follow Federal election laws. No corporate donations so the whole MSM is in violation of the law.

Yes, the press "atwitter" about a lone sign, outside...and, who knows who put it there? A speech being made by a Republican candidate for POTUS inside...and, where is the focus of the press? A prime example of MSM priorities and how the news is covered.
The local rep Julia Boseman rents out her place as the Barack HQ. Its 2 blocks from where McCain had his rally today.
This is the same Julia that had 3 or 4 properties that she never bothered to pay the mortgage on and decided that real estate taxes are for “the little people”!
Amazing how incurious drive-bys are about that type of information.

Let’s pretend that there was a protest on the streets outside a political convention at which there was a paper effigy of a candidate being lit on fire and hung from a noose by the neck with the words ‘terrorist’ and ‘traitor’ pinned to its shirt.
Let’s pretend that people held up posters of the candidate with Hitler moustaches painted on with the words ‘Nazi’ and ‘Hitler’ under the headshot.
Let’s pretend people were chanting for impeachment, assassination and violent overthrow of the government while wearing black clothing, black masks and black sunglasses.
Now let’s pretend that the subject of all of this rage and hatred was a black man named Barack Hussein Obama and not a white man named George Bush.
Do you think the NY Times would be putting in on the front page? They sure didn’t put it on the front page in 2000, 2004 or 2008 when it happened against Bush even though there were dozens of TV cameras and hundreds of reporters witnessing it. And not a single reporter assigned the anger and deranged violent hostility of those crowds to the candidate they were going to vote for (Obama, Kerry, Gore).

her former “wife” was the softball coach at UNCW. She graced the benches at Boseman Field until they broke up. Then UNCW fired her. Obviously, they are involved in another nationwide search for a qualified lesbian to coach the team to victory!
That one ended badly.....

The leftists are worried about the passion and drive from McCain-Palin supporters, and are trying to damp it down by calling it names. If this were happening at Dem rallies, the MSM would be cheering.
