Palin Criticizes Obama on Abortion at Pa. Rally

Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin attacked Barack Obama on abortion on Saturday, saying the Democratic presidential candidate has "left behind even the middle ground on the issue of life."

Palin said she and Republican presidential candidate John McCain would be "defenders of the culture of life." She opposes abortion in all cases except where the pregnancy threatens the woman's life.

Alaska's governor also touched upon common campaign themes during her speech to about 5,000 supporters in Johnstown, but she focused on children with special needs and then abortion. Palin, whose infant son, Trig, has Down syndrome, said she and McCain would make protecting such children a priority.

"Every child has something to contribute ... if we give them that chance," she said.

Palin said it was about time that Obama was "called" on his abortion views.

Palin is certainly a better campaigner than McCain.

Here it is three weeks before the election and McCain is not on one of any of the Sunday morning shows...not one. Well, if Obama loses, we can thank the Clintons & the Clintonistas for not voting for him...I'm sure they wouldn't want to ruin Hillary's plan to run in 2012 by helping elect Obama on 11/4.

Abortion has obliterated two-three generations of future black leaders. Why are the Civil Rights leaders a bunch of doddering old men like Jesse Jackson and John Lewis? Because the young generation that would've moved them out of the way, are instead rotting in the back dumpsters of abortion clinics.

Think about it. There's been about 50 million legal abortions in this country since 1973. Of them, at least 25% of them were black. While abortions destroy the fabric of society, the hit is far worse in the black community. Say white aborted the other kids-38 million. According to the US Census Bureau-

80% of America is white. So, of the 300,000,000 people in the US, that's 38 million out of 240 million, or 1/8 of their population. However, there's only about 40 million blacks in America....they've aborted 30% of their population.

Think about what I said before-ALL the civil rights leaders, black political leadership, and even black community leaders are either older middle-aged, or downright elderly. Barack Obama, the so-called "new generation", is 47 years old. Rev. Martin Luther King began his career with the Birminham Bus boycott when he was 26, won the Nobel Peace Prize at 35, and was considered an old fogey by younger black radicals by the time he was assassinated at 39.

Another thing about Obama. He's just not all that bright. He's pretty-looking, for sure. However, it's kind of sad that the first serious black Presidential candidate in US history had to be a half-Kenyan, half-White descendant of slaveholders and slavetraders, because AFrican-Americans have aborted their future away, and instead have to rely on half-breed mediocrities to carry the torch.

I don’t suppose PA’s very own Sen. “Silent Bob” Casey has said anything about Obama’s support for legalized infanticide..?

We had three or four Obama signs go up around here in the past few months. Now they’re gone and McCain signs are appearing. It looks as if people got hit in the pocketbook and connected the dots.

Amazing that blacks haven’t figured out that abortion euthanizes the black race. (But then most don’t know or even care that Lincoln was a republican.)

Palin needs to emphasize the fact that this is a Constitutional issue as well.

Let each State decide. If the powers in the fed decide, the prochoicers aren’t going to like it when they have a change in management.

According to Freakonomics they were all destined to be criminals so it was a good thing because crime went down. -sarc.

Someone has said that children are our greatest natural resource so why are we not "green' with our children?

“REAGAN’S MALITIA?”

what is a “malitia?” LOL

I trust you meant “REAGAN'S MILITIA”

“We have three weeks to organize?”

a little late don't cha think...

“We have to vote all the creeps out?”

you forget, that half of America is on some kind of government assistance and most folks have no problem with THEIR representative...just look at Pelosi, Murtha, Kennedy, Clinton, Boxer, Feinstein, Kerry...just to name a few and because the districts are so gerrymandered, term limits are probably the only way to remove these clowns...and we all know there's not much chance of getting terms limits passed into law.

I was at the Johnstown rally for Sarah Palin over 4000 people were there and they turned away nearly 500 more because the Johnstown War Memorial was full. There were 4 Obama protesters there and the local liberal TV station WJAC focused on the protesters and did what they could to point out how far McCain was down in the polls in Pennsylvania.

Abortion? How about infanticide. Three votes in favor of infanticide, so that no one is ever "punished with a baby."

Barak Obama. Satan's choice in '08.

My sister came over to my house last night. Her and I have never agreed upon anything politically. The subject of presidential politics came up and I thought, “oh no! Not another diatribe about how stupid Bush is and how evil all conservatives are,”
Instead I got “Obama is a liar and he is evil. McCain may not agree with me on most issues, but he and Palin love our country. That whole Acorn thing shows Obama’s true colors.”
I was awestruck. Maybe there is some hope that we can save our country from Obama, then work on saving it from “others”.

I have four of my own. I’m helping propagate my genealogical line. Thing is, for every aborted black baby that would’ve turned out bad, two of them would’ve wound up okay. Just think, the next great black entertainer, or the next great doctor who would’ve cured AIDS, or the next great leader who would’ve been the President we needed in a tough time in the future, are now ashes after being incinerated.

Good for Sarah for talking about abortion.

And we should all write letters to the editor re: the candidates’ positions on abortion, and send our letters to both secular and religious newspapers, particularly in the battleground states.
