$920 Billion More to Bail Out the World
Accuracy in Media ^ | September 28, 2008 | Cliff Kinkaid

Posted on 10/12/2008 4:31:16 AM PDT by UrbanPanhandler

With one socialist “bailout” bill apparently on the way to passage by Congress, two more are pending―both of them sponsored by Senator Barack Obama. One is the Jubilee Act, which would cancel as much as $75 billion worth of Third World debt, and the other is the Global Poverty Act, which would cost an estimated $845 billion. Total potential cost: $920 billion.

Both the Global Poverty Act and Jubilee Act have passed the House and now sits in the Senate. House members passed the Global Poverty Act by "voice vote" with no record of who voted yes on paper.

How many more hundreds of billions of dollars is it going to take to bring on hyperinflation?

The socialism that has been building for so long is now starting to take off. Obama is not even waiting to be elected. He is trying to advance his agenda now.

I’m starting to believe that it will be bad for Sarah Palin to be McCain’s VP. She’ll be dragged down by his liberal leanings. Maybe we should just start planning a new party, a tax revolt, and for 2012.

We need to vote them all out, with the exception of South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint.

Is he doing this now because he is so arrogant that he thinks he’s already President? Or is it because he’s afraid he might not get elected, so he’s trying to get what he can now? Or because the left thinks we are all so desperate or that we’re no longer paying attention to what they’re doing in Congress?

This is why Obama says if he wins his party will bribg congress back before the end of the year.

Another Trillion dollar tax increase and McCain says Obama is not someone to fear.

Will be interesting to see at what point does the right finally say enough.

We are already sliding down the slope to a collectivist state.

We have already lost our freedom and are slaves of the state and the crooks.

Where is John Galt?

We need to vote them all out...

This will NEVER work. The only way to get these loafing pigs out is to stage a successful revolution.

These pigs, who we have elected to rule us, have ruined us.

Read up on the Global Poverty Act. If it passes the Senate and gets signed into law by the President, big problems are on the way. The bill would force the U.S. to sign onto the U.N.’s Millennium Declaration, which would commit us not only to ‘banning small arms and light weapons’ but also to adhere to the International Criminal Court Treaty and the Kyoto Protocol.

She’ll be dragged down by his liberal leanings.

All VP candidates are on the ballot only because they agree to support Presidential candidates on at least majority of the issues.

What, exactly is your objection to canceling third world debt? You will be shocked at the interest rates which these loans were given.

Canceling third world debt will (theoretically) enable third world countries to spend more on health care and infrastructure (hence stimulating demand).

The last point is that we owe $10 Trillion. We will be asking for debt forgiveness sometime in the future. (Do unto others as you would like others to do unto you).

What makes you think that we will have the still have the freedom to vote in 2012?

If the Marxist gets in to the WH our America will cease to exist.

I’m all for cancelling international debts. It’s not like it ever really gets repaid to us and it only costs us in the long run.
