It’s not a strongly Democratic state, at least not Presidentially. The past two elections have been very, very close.
Were it not for Raines,Johnson,Gorelick, Bahney fag and a host of other players(note I do not hesitate to name names--neither should Mccain!!) who initiated and then promoted failure in lending we would not have achieved such a huge stock market loss and devaluation of real estate.
There is little question abut who is to blame. It's the demon crats and if we don't pin the tail where it belongs it could cost us dearly.

I don't know who the speakers were. A little boy sang the National Anthem. Partway through, a guy hoisted a girl on his shoulders and she started yelling, but my daughter blew those shots :-(.

A video of his speech is up at www.qctimes.com, but the buffering was taking too long plus they are constantly updating the page, and it threw me out of the video, didn't want to mess with it any further.
The usual lib snarky comments, only a few like us post at the newspaper site, and I get fed up with it. One lib spams like crazy. He makes multiple posts with one word each to run up the counter so it gets in the most popular in the upper right of the home page. If it were a conservative like me (I post only rarely), they would get banned for spamming like that I'll bet. I didn't bother to report him, but he's on my bad news list.

Those a some pretty good shots, actually. The heckler was a real hoot. Turns out he and the little woman had a picture of Lennon with the caption:

They announced at the rally today that Iowa won last year by 3 votes per precinct. That’s close! Also heard that ACORN has infiltrated the ranks there and they are signing up teens under voting age.
I always knew Iowa was close the past two Pres. elections, but that really puts things into perspective.
They indicated that in 2000 they won by 2 votes/precinct. I hope we can get Iowa’s electoral votes.
Yeah, me neither. Now I want to know what is under that bus :-)
I guess it pulled right into the convention center so he didn't have to be outside. Wonder how many other venues where that is possible?

I’m sorry I didn’t go now, too. When I watched part of the video on QCTimes, the crowd was much larger and more enthusiasm than the photos conveyed.
