A Month Away, Some Voters Can't Decide (Undecideds worried about Obama's radical friends)

Pete Tiffany voted for George W. Bush in 2004 on the basis of an online quiz, which asked him 12 questions about his views on issues such as abortion, free trade and gay marriage, and told him which candidate was closest to his views.

The 44-year-old construction worker in the battleground state of Virginia said he isn't sure how he will vote this year. "I want to say I'll vote on the economy, which Democrats are better on, but I'm not sure if the economy is all that bad," he said recently.

"Obama's pastor bothers me, but I take everything I hear on television with a grain of salt."

Mr. Tiffany is one of the select pool of voters who will have an important voice in this election -- those who say a month before Election Day that they are undecided between John McCain and Barack Obama, or may reluctantly lean toward one, but not firmly.

McCain is right on the money attacking Obama on his associations and radical friends. He also needs to attack big government.

I am sick of the line “Democrats are better on the economy”, when the hell did this become the truth? Look at the freaking mess we are in and it is all because of Democrats. We had a great economy under Republican leadership and the original contract with America under Newt.

God...Republicans are HORRIBLE with getting out and countering the message.

"I want to say I'll vote on the economy, which Democrats are better on, but I'm not sure if the economy is all that bad,"

Are these people dense? It was the Democrats that have ruined the economy. The evidence is so plain and clear. RATS like Dodd, Frank, the list is huge. If anything some of the Republicans, including McCain, tried to warn that something bad was up. This bailout is a Democratic joke and did nothing but make criminals millionaires.

I do NOT believe that this close to the election there is actually a group of “undecided voters.” I believe they are just “unwilling to tell” pollsters.

“I want to say I’ll vote on the economy, which Democrats are better on

This guy doesn’t have a clue.

DEMOCRATS BETTER on the economy?

THEY CREATED THIS MESS with their demand that lenders grant mortgages to PEOPLE WHO COULDN’T REPAY THEM.

Clearly, we’re doomed.

I hear ya! This whole mess with Fannie Mae and Fredie Mac was the Democrats' big socialist experiment of "economic fairness" and "shared prosperity" gone wrong and it is costing Americans $700 billion. And Americans want to vote in a frikin' Marxist for even more of this socialist crap?

Democrats better on the economy? What crap! The first 6 years of Bush 2 had better economic performance than at any time during the Klintoon years.

“but I take everything I hear on television with a grain of salt.”

So do I.
That’s the beauty of the internet, they can check out information on Obama theirselves and find the truth.
And the truth is damning...

I agree entirely, he also needs to add big government on the radar. The fastest way to address the massive corruption in government is to reduce it's power, and that can be done by reducing it's size (and budget).

correct
our economy was down when Bush took over, Bush, congress and the house brought the economy up , all was well.
The Dems ran on in 2006 of we’ll make it better but never gave any specifics, none at all but the media let them get away with it and the public bought it like fools or lost sheep.

Since the Dems have taken over our economy goes south and what do the Dems do, they blame it on Bush, the media goes along with it and the public buys it again.

Maybe this worker needs to do his own research instead of just saying the TV with a pinch of salt.

I’m sure he’ll find that info on obama, wright, odinga(sp), white catholic priest, ayers, rezko, on and on, maybe he’ll even find info about why obama will not show his birth certificate or his records at school

10 mins of his life is all what is needed and yet he doesn’t know

heaven help us
