No cloud without a silver lining!
Green technologies is scheduled to be the next big investment bubble, meltdown coming in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...(years)
It is one of those universal truths that liberals have so assiduously tried to deny. My uncle was a soil scientist with the United Nations for awhile. He spent some years in Nepal studying the soil erosion problems there, caused by poor people stripping the lower slopes of trees for fuel.

...UNSEASONABLY COLD WEATHER CONTINUES AT FAIRBANKS...
THE HIGH TEMPERATURE YESTERDAY AT THE FAIRBANKS INTERNATIONAL
AIRPORT WAS 31 DEGREES. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THIS FALL THAT THE
HIGH TEMPERATURE FAILED TO REACH THE FREEZING MARK. ON AVERAGE THE
DATE OF THE FIRST DAY WITH A HIGH TEMPERATURE BELOW FREEZING IS
OCTOBER 11TH. SO FAR THIS MONTH THE WARMEST TEMPERATURE OF 38
DEGREES WAS OBSERVED ON THE 2ND.
THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE SO FAR THIS MONTH OF 27.1 DEGREES IS 8.2
DEGREES BELOW THE 30-YEAR AVERAGE. IT HAS BEEN THE COLDEST FIRST 5
DAYS OF THE MONTH OF OCTOBER SINCE 1992.
Al Gore warned us! This is a crisis! The sky is falling ... or at least CO2 is rising! We're all going to die or be driven to cannibalism! The first sign of Global Warming is the drop in temperatures, and that's here! We can't wait just to deal with an economic crisis, not when we have a climate crisis to panic about! We can't wait to gather facts on either one, not when we can get ahead on panicing before we're too far behind to panic with all our friends and we have to panic alone!
