I thank you for the opportunity of your vanity in order to post this radio phone call taken by local (Raleigh, NC) conservative talk show host Bill LuMaye. This call was from NC congresswoman Virginia Foxx (R) about the bailout bill vote defeat.

In the call she mentions Bill Isaac (former head of the FDIC under Carter and Reagan), met with Republicans and a small group of Dems to present an alternate plan that doesn't spend any taxpayer $$. He tried to talk to Dems and President Bush also but they wouldn't listen to him.

The 2 hours he just spent on the air with the CEO of BB&T was even MORE insightful then yesterday with Foxx. I missed most of it because I was in the Drs office but this guy said if this abomination passes in it’s present form it will destroy our economy even further. He had some pretty good ideas on how to react to this. I’m sure Bill will post it tomorrow on the website. He also said he has sent it in a letter to all of the NC congress critters.
