Patriotic supporters this week included PatrioticMarineMom and daughter, Lurker E, Lurker Bill and myself. No pics today due to my forgetfulness. But I have a reason, I belong to the Half Century Club. I’m only at Stage One. I still remember to unzip for those who know the joke.
Moonbats could only manage two, and they were ten minutes late. The church clock struck 4:30 and they were gone, just like good useless morons.
Rain, and RockerMom2MyHero is NO show. That was good since last time it rained in Westminster, she gave me a leaky umbrella. 3DJoy heard of this travesty and donated some new red/white/blue umbrellas. RockerMom still wanted me to suffer by not showing up so I could use one. Enough of giving RockerMom a hard time.
I had a poncho this rainy Westminster Freep. In defense of RockerMom, an umbrella would have restricted me from holding the U.S./USMC flags. The rain showers weighted the flags down. Between showers the flags wrung out enough to unfurl in the breeze. Passing cars then had a real nice sight of our location.
The passing supporters were great. We received 3 salutes and numerous honks and waves. Even an ambulance, sirens blaring, gave us a wave. A fire truck returning from a run, gave us a blare of their sirens.
Walkers were in short supply even with the Westminster Fallfest in full swing. One couple with several kids in tow said that the rides were shut down because of the rain. We saw several people carrying scarecrows. So that is where the clueless morons were. Stuff a little hay where their spine should be, between their toes, and in their “gimme, gimme” fingers, and voila!!
RockerMom2MyHero will be back next Westminster FReep. So look forward to her great AAR. She includes pictures.

Please join us if you can. We can use extra boots on the corner, 2nd and last Saturday of each month, when we counter protest the moonbats. The Westminster Gathering/FReep is located on the east side of E. Main Street opposite the library at 50 East Main Street. There is public parking on Winters Street. Follow the signs.

You pick on me even when I am not there to defend myself! LOL No wonder I wanted you to suffer in the rain! Seriously, thanks for supporting our Military in Westminster, even in the rain. Pictures would have been nice but you did a great job on the report and I like the last sentence especially. That makes up for some of the picking on me! It just seems that once a month, we do Dave’s American Bistro for lunch after doing Olney, and drive to Westminster
and have a hoot at the Irish Pub after the FReep.
Countering moonbats makes me hungry.
Rockermom keep the pressure on Trooprally.
Going up against the moonbats just makes me ornery. So I’m playfully ornery afterwards.

We’ll be in Westminster on October 11, from 3 til 5, rain or shine.
The moonbats are there from 3:30 to 4:30, so that is the minimum if you can make it.
