It does not make sense that so-called feminists have chosen the pro-abortion side of the issue. While polling shows a majority of people are in favor of abortion, this is only if you define 'support' as 'only for the life of the mother or in cases of rape or incest.'

This is the very end of a sliding scale of support for this issue. Further down the scale, a majority is against abortion, as in after the first trimester, against partial birth abortion, etc. Only the most die hard pro abortionist sits at the end of the scale where the feminists want the law to be.

This is: abortion to be allowed without parental consent/knowledge, up to the ninth month, (and apparently even after the baby survives the abortion), and with no spousal consent/notification. This is an extreme position, yet this is what feminists want, and say that this is the 'pro woman' position.

What no one knows is that in every category on the sliding scale above, more men are pro abortion than women. That is right, more women are against abortion. But feminists won't tell you that.

Men who support abortion fall into two categories: 1. Men who feel that it is not their decision to make., and 2. Men who consider abortion a convenient way to get rid of a problem. These men are often seen at abortion mills trying to coerce their girlfriend into an abortion.

If feminists were truly pro choice as they claim, maybe they could address this failure on their part to protect a pregnant woman's choice to have a baby.

My experience has shown that the women who scream the loudest about abortion rights are the ones who have had them and/or forced their daughters to have them. I’ve volunteered many years at my Catholic Parish’s abortion alternative outreach center and nearly every phone call I received were from young girls who said they were being forced by their Mothers to have an abortion. I would tell them that by law they couldn’t be forced but it was a psychological hold that made it nearly impossible to overcome. Once baby boomers are gone, I suspect abortion will no longer hold such a valued position.

I had an argument with a male relative about this. He said it was a decision to be made between a woman and her doctor. I asked if he was a woman. No. I asked if he was a doctor. No. Then I told him that, by his own argument, he should stay out of it.

Taking the “say” away from the man is the CRUELEST thing that the left ever did to women.

“Hey, it’s not my place to say whether you have the abortion or not.”
[Hey, the guilt is ALL ON YOU if you kill that child]

True story. I was sitting in the faculty lounge at the NYC high school where I was teaching, discussing with several colleagues the abortion issue. After a while most backed away from the debate and I was talking with one rather liberal male. He was talking about “choice” and I was asking him to examine what it was that was being chosen. He responded by it’s not a man’s place to make the decision and I responded that it wasn’t a woman’s right to determine whether an unborn life should be allowed to live. He eventually got to the point where, breathing heavily, veins almost popping out of his forehead, he raised his voice and said, “All I know is that you can’t tell me what me or my wife can and can’t do with our own bodies and if you try to take my wife’s right to an abortion away from her, I’ll f*@%ing kill you.”

The room fell silent. Incredulous, I asked, “Why is it your side always chooses death?”
