Vanity - Why are people here on FR always so damn negative and always second guessing?

I think McCain did very well tonight. He had a positive vision for America and should do very well on the other debates.

Yet, the McCain haters and hand wringers are out in force tonight bitching and moaning about "Why didn't John McCain.. blahblahblah". They showing their true selves tonight.

If you want McCain to do something, why don't you get off your asses and turn off your computer and go work on the campaign, or STFU.

Thank you!

I think McCain had a clear win. But, as usual, Obama’s hatchet people in the media have his back in the spin room.

No offense but those who use “STFU” in their comments aren’t worth the effort . . .

I think it’s good we have disagreements, I mean it’s not like we’re mindless, leftist zombies (ala DU and DKos). At the same time I do wish people would give McCain the benefit of the doubt, because some of the criticism feels like 0bama endorsements. People should vent, but consider what they are saying, up to a point.

I think McCain won because I never felt like I had to turn off the TV, although 0’s smug snarkiness made me happy that McCain bashed him a couple of times.

0 always had to get in the last word and I believe that showed him to be on the defensive.

I remember being so depressed after W's debates, so since I feel OK now, it means that I truly feel good with McCain's performance.

McCain did better than I thought he would do.

I think we are in a much better position than we were after the first debate four years ago. Lets roll!

If the drive-bys covered sports the way they cover politics, USC would have won last night. :)

Thanks it really does get old reading all the doom and negativity. We would go to DU or the MSM if that was all we wanted.

“Yet, the McCain haters and hand wringers are out in force tonight bitching and moaning about “Why didn’t John McCain.. blahblahblah”. They showing their true selves tonight. “

Baloney. We support McCain and wanted a more forceful attack. We want to see Obama cut up in little pieces and quivering in the palm of McCain’s hand. Its not about being pessamistic. ITs about being realistic. The votes which will win this, the ones up for grabs, are independent votes and they don’t view things as we do, or even for that matter as Obama supporters do.

And I HAVE gotten off my butt and AM working for him but it has been a rouhg row to hoe as his campaign leaders don;t work as well as I’d like them to.

I thought McCain cleaned his clock, but then my wife talked to her parents and they bought the media spin. My in-laws actually believe that the problem is that McCain and Bush don’t know how to talk to Putin and the terrorists but Obama will. Rush is right ignorance is our most expensive commodity.
