An Alaska mayor writes to a California newspaper:
Dear Editor, Palin wrote in 2002. San Francisco judges forbidding our Pledge of Allegiance? They will take the phrase under God away from me when my cold, dead lips can no longer utter those words.
TOPICS: Constitution/Conservatism; Culture/Society; Editorial; News/Current Events; Philosophy; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: 2008election; charltonheston; conservatism; marksteyn; mccainpalin; nationalreview; pledgeofallegiance; sarahpalin; undergod
Do we love Sarah Palin? Oh yes! Especially when she's channeling Charlton Heston on the Pledge Of Allegiance!
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus

GOD BLESS YOU....SARAH
Sarah “hunter” Palin Vs. San Franciso Judge???
That’s not a fair fight...c’mon!!! LOL

Perry Como's hit song, I think is an apopros signature for this thread:
I'm gonna love that gal like she's never been loved before
I'm gonna show that gal she's the baby that I adore
When she's in my arms again
Our dreams will all come true
Then, the years between might never have been
We'll start our lives anew!
I'm gonna kiss that gal like she's never been kissed before
And though I miss that gal she's the baby I'm waitin' for
We'll never part again
She'll hold my heart again
Forever and ever more
I'm gonna love that gal like she's never been loved before!

Sarah needs to stop talking about her foreign experience because she doesn't have any. She should, when asked about foreign policy, offer her experience and instinctive policies while mayor and governor.
The Katy Curic interview on CBS will be pounded over the weekend and she should learn not to blow smoke...

What's there not to like about Palin? Beautiful, smart, ambitious, her family, her ideals, her spirit, her love of country, her butt er :)... She is got it all.
But not even her can elevate weasel MaCacain enough for me to vote for him. My brain functions well... I still feel about him the same as I did just a year ago. I detest him!
This BS about "suspending his campaign" is nothing more than a political stunt, he hoped would generate the same results as Palin did... Don't think so.

As of right now it seems impossible I would vote for Ocaca.... But I just might...
I am very tough even on myself when I squander opportunities and at some point one deserves to pay the price for our own screw ups or plain stupidity
That applies to the GOP too imo. They had it all and they did pratically nothing with it. GW himself failed to fix Illegal Immigration and in doing so proved to me that is above all "a corportation man." etc, etc, etc

I understand your disgust and, if it weren’t for the Palin selection, I was giving serious thought to voting 3rd party. That said, I will not now try to talk you out of what your conscience is telling you (though, I encourage you to listen to your conscience through the remainder of the campaign and right up to the voting booth).
But, if you find yourself, going to the polls still feeling that you can’t pull the lever for someone other than 0bama, I urge you to simply stay home this time. If he gets in and takes the country where many here are fairly certain he will take us, how, then will your conscience ever let you rest knowing YOU pulled the lever FOR that man?

Well, we’ll see. But trust me, no one can change my mind. One of the things I love in my life is simpy a clean concious at peace with the world. I follow my conscious and that is that. We’ll see.

“But trust me, no one can change my mind.”
This is ever the case. We, alone, can change our minds. Sometimes, though, evidence persuades us to do so.
