A disturbing trend in recent elections has been the intentional use of skewed polling by the media to promote their ideological bent rather than to report the news. We got another dose of this biased effort to twist the news to the liking of the media giants just this week with the latest Washington Post-ABC poll, which revealed that Barack Obama has moved to a nine-point lead over John McCain in the presidential race. The mainstream media breathlessly reported this information as indicative of McCains loss of campaign steam after the post-convention bounce and the recent euphoria over Sarah Palin....

I think it’s funny how the media always selectively posts certain polls, sometimes even covering up their own news organization’s results to shill for Obambi.
This is only going to backfire on them. People do not like to be lied to, especially about this election when you have a far left socialist running.....
There was a local MI poll today that had Obama up by 13%, now that’s beyound ridiculous. That’s over 4 times the margin Bush lost to Kerry in 2004.
“There was a local MI poll today that had Obama up by 13%”...
Magic mushroom time for idiots me thinks.....
Here's what I wrote on another thread regarding the oversampling of black voters:
“It's common practice in polling to oversample smaller groups you need the numbers to get the margin of error down, so that you can have meaningful cross-tabs. The oversampling is factored out during the calculations of the overall results.
That's not saying that the ABC/WaPo poll wasn't biased in any number of ways. Just that oversampling blacks doesn't show bias (unless the oversample wasn't factored out in the final results which would be an egregious error, or blatant bias).”

Gee, who’d a thunk it?!
This one’s for all the hyperventilators here on FR.
They loaded the poll with more than one hundred extra blacks. Surprise, surprise! They all said they were voting for Obama.
Certain lamestream Freepers ate it hook, line, and sinker.
I hate polls. I know they are biased and I don’t believe them. At all.
Unless I like the results. Then it’s IN YOUR FACE Democrats!
they don’t look at the internals which has a large percentage of blacks in the poll. The methodology of the poll was flawed.
These latest MSM polls are all designed to try to convince the sheep that Obama is back ahead and all is well. Nice try.
When you already know what their answer will be before you ask them the question, I think oversampling blacks is indeed a show of bias. Most polls say 95% will vote for the Fraud.
We dissected that ABC poll on another thread.
If that poll was skewered in the same way towards McCain the way it was for Obaaaaama we could show McCain with a 20 point lead.
actually if you looked at the poll internals 54% claimed they lean rat-wing with 38% Republican...hence this is why I think the polls results were good for McCain and should worry hussien...
even with a 16% advantage in the poll he only came away 9pts ahead....this could lend credence to the fact there are a lot of hillary supporters leaning toward McCain...
it was the same way with an ARG poll earlier this week from the state of Pa...
hussien had a 4pt advantage but they polled 10% more rat-wingers...even more bothersome for hussien was independents in that poll went 51%-41% to McCain..
I wish I could pull up the thread with the original post of that Post/ABC poll.
The reporter/writer was gleeful. “The Palin bounce is over.”
I figured he was jumping up and down on his bed while he wrote the article.
As more of the truth about Obama gets out, it will backfire in the MSM’s faces. I have seen in my hometown a number of McCain/Palin signs.
