Palin once blessed to be free from 'witchcraft'

A grainy YouTube video surfaced Wednesday showing Sarah Palin being blessed in her hometown church three years ago by a Kenyan pastor who prayed for protection from "witchcraft" as she prepared to seek higher office.

The video shows Palin standing before Bishop Thomas Muthee in the pulpit of the Wasilla Assembly of God church, holding her hands open as he asked Jesus Christ to keep her safe from "every form of witchcraft."

"Come on, talk to God about this woman. We declare, save her from Satan," Muthee said as two attendants placed their hands on Palin's shoulders. "Make her way my God. Bring finances her way even for the campaign in the name of Jesus. ... Use her to turn this nation the other way around."

Last sentence:

Maria Comella, a spokeswoman for the McCain-Palin campaign, has said Palin attends different churches and does not consider herself Pentecostal.

First I've heard that reported out there.

It must have worked since she is not running against Hillary.

I have very good friends who are observant Pentacostals. Both have, in the past, been targeted with whispering campaigns against their businesses and personal character by a group of folks one could characterize as New Age. Both received blessings and prayer against Satan and witchcraft. When another person, not a Christian, discovered that some labor they had hired to work in their home had taken hair from a hair brush and also proudly announced to the employer that they were a witch, the Christians immediately set about praying against witchcraft, et al, for this person.

Sarah obviously has made enemies during her career. If she has an 80% approval in Alaska, then she has 20% who are against her.

All this sounds prudent, given her beliefs and the circumstances. It also strikes me as innocent and reaching for straws by her enemies.

Bill Clinton has told the donks that this dumping on Sarah is not going to win them votes and is counterproductive. They obviously are not listening. Too bad for them.

All these issues about Palin....sound girlie...like cat fights.

The View, Ellen's female guests are proof that cat fights still exist. If these "critics" are so brilliant and so wonderful, why do they have jobs that are no-brainers. Anyone can shoot their mouth off.

And Letterman...very girlie...

I pray that Sarah will be protected from Satan and all of Satan’s followers in the Obama Campaign, daily. No sarcasm here.

“Where are all these kooks coming from? Does anyone else think there has been a tremendous increase in the number of kooks out there “investigating” Governor Palin? They’re all kooks.”

These ‘kooks’ are out there vying for their ‘big break’.

Be the big journalist who blows the case wide open.

EGO.

I hope the AP doesn’t expect me to think that this equals 20 years of spew from Wright—that Obama kept going back for.

“If only AP had investigated Obama’s backgroup in the past three years as much and as thoroughly as they have done in Palin’s case in the past three weeks!”

If only AP had revealed Obama’s backgroup in the past three years, as they have done with Palin, Obama would be in jail.

Palin once blessed to be free from 'witchcraft'.

Obviously it didn't take. Biden's still there.

Since the AP and its minions belong to satan, they see no reason for protection from him.

With an army of lawyers and investigators climbing into every dumpster in Wasilla for dirt, this is the best they can come up with? Pathetic.

Big deal. Many Africans believe in witchcraft, and there have been witch hunts there in recent years. For a Kenyan pastor to pray for her protection from witchcraft might not be so unusual, considering where Kenya is...

Why can't the 'diversity' crowd figure that one out?

Still, a blessing should ask for protection from evil and Satan's minions, especially those in the press.

AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!

She no doubt needed prayer against such as that. Just imagine the incantations etc. being sent against her.

PRAISE GOD FOR THE BLOOD OF JESUS!

We need to pray for her safety etc.

Thx.

"Nothing wrong with that. Witchcraft is still widely practiced in many areas of Africa. Christian missionaries sometimes encounter witches who are obviously possessed by a spiritual entity of some kind, and it's not a angel of God."

Witchcraft is now widely practiced in the USA, and most of the practitioners are politically liberal, so it is not a stretch that some might be inclined to direct curses at someone like Palin. I know many people today scoff at the notion that curses and spells can actually work, but I have read accounts from African missionaries - and these missionaries were NOT fundamentalists - that suggest that sorcery is a real phenomenon with real effects.

Most true evangelical churches (as opposed to what the MSM calls “evangelical”) pray for a “hedge of protection” around people. Some pray-ers and churches just get more specific in their requests. One cannot deny there is witchcraft, as those Wiccan Code Pinkers believe in such.

Besides given the current climate of hate swirling around Liberals and Code Pink our country needs such prayers.

Every home I have ever lived in has been blessed by a Catholic priest. Our family also routinely blesses one another and asks Gods blessing on others. Asking for spiritual protection against Satan and his army of evil would be a good practice for anybody who believes in the power of spiritual forces to affect human activity and life. I hope we all pray for Sarah Palin and her family to continue to be guarded by the spiritual army of God.

And remember the story about Hillery communing with Eleanor Roosevelt in the WH?

Not too worry. If anything, this nonesense only makes Conservatives angrier and more motivated to vote. On the other hand, I don’t think it garners the dems one more vote as the loons will always vote democrat no matter what. Of course, it costs money to have all these swine snoops running about all over Alaska trying to get dirt on Palin. That costs money. Every cent Onada spends on that can’t be spent on ads and whatever.

IMO all this Palin stuff is just background noise now, anyway.

McCain has retained contol of the news cycles with his suspended campaign ploy. Dems are running out of oxygen.

I was watching Olberman last night and he has this on there and all I thought to myself was “big deal”. So what they are saying that being prayed over is bad now? Talk about alienating people. I guess when I get sick if people pray for me they are religious nutcases.

Then he when on to say that this was 10 times worse than Rev Wright. I thought oh yeah being prayed over to keep evil away from you is so much more terrible than being a racist.
