Jann Wenner, the left-wing media mogul who publishes Palin-bashing Us Weekly and Obama-deifying Rolling Stone magazine, is at it again.
I have received several reports that MichelleMalkin.com readers or their family members have received free, unsolicited copies of the latest Oct. 2 Rolling Stone issue in their mailboxes. The latest issue just happens to have the headline The Lies of Sarah Palin splashed all over it. An excerpt of the PDS-infected Matt Taibbis screed:

If you have a magazine subscription on the mailing label it has the date your subscription expires.
For some reason I have been getting Rolling Stone magazine for years for free . Current issue with the Palin story has my script ending April 9 09. I never asked for this magazine, I have never renewed it. I figured let it keep coming so they waste money.
I never liked that scumbag, Wenner, and I always will. There’s a conservative hit piece in almost every issue RS mag.
Jann is like, so sixties.
Has he had a heart attack yet?
Pacemaker? Stents? STD?
BTW All Matt Tiaibbi’s writings are screeds to promote socialism. He never has anything usefull to say.
In addition I always laugh when I read the letters to the editor praising how true his writing are.
Me too, I think it’s from a Best Buy deal.
That’s a great idea.
Liberals say crap like this about the USA and then get all huffy when conservatives question their patriotism. Well, I don't question their patriotism. People like Wenner have no patriotism to question - their own words prove it.
I was getting Rolling Stone free at one time too and didn’t know why. I didn’t want it. So I called the subscription department to find out why. I had filled out a questionaire or some such thing and the free Rolling Stone was attached to that.
Don’t know how long they would have continued to send it for free. I told ‘scrip dept to stop it. I didn’t want their rag. She didn’t like my tone of voice.
“this grasping consumer paradise we call a nation”
What’s the matter with a “consumer paradise”? Sounds pretty nice to me. It continues to shock and amaze me that anyone could think the majority of people could ever be anything but materialistic. What do socialists expect everyone to do with their time aside from producing and consuming things? Should we all sit around studying philosophy? Who’d feed us?
It is so blantantly obvious that he is trying to ape Hunter S. Thompson, but he just doesn’t quite have the wit to run with the good doctor.
Taibi doesn't have to go there, but he's so full of the devil's poison he probably doesn't care if he does.
I didn’t know that Jann Wenner publishes Us Weekly. I knew he had Rolling Stoned. Makes perfect sense now.
Cancel the free subs anyway. You are making them money as it helps them to inflate their circulation figures and charge higher ad rates.
Magazines price advertisements based on circulation.
One way to pump up circulation is to give away free subscriptions.
They might target high-income zip codes for freebies to further entice advertisers.
I think Jan Wenner has a crush on Todd Palin.
Did you read HITCHENS latest !!! Truly great article.
But it make such good kindle : )
This from a guy who dumped his wife for an undewear model...a male underwear model.
“...awing a room full of hardened reporters with her sickly-sweet line about the high-school-flame-turned-hubby who ‘five children later,’ is ‘still my guy.’”
“sickly-sweet”? There’s already a word for that; it’s called “cloying.” What a bad writer. Get a thesaurus.
