Will Prejudice Trump Economy For Voters? (most pathetic attempt in playing the race card)

(CBS/AP) How America votes could come down to the economy, and that could be especially true in many of the so-called battleground states where voters have been hit hard economically.

But a new AP-Yahoo News poll shows that race could also play a big role in how some voters make their choice - and this may not bode well for Barack Obama.

According to the poll released Saturday, a little over one-third of white Democrats and independents agreed with at least one negative adjective about blacks, and they are less likely to vote for Obama than those who don't hold such views.

"There are a lot fewer bigots than there were 50 years ago, but that doesn't mean there's only a few bigots," said Stanford University political scientist Paul Sniderman, who helped analyze the exhaustive survey.

Its liberals who are playing the race card... I'm tired of being told I'm a racist if I don't want to vote for the One. They keep bringing it up, there's gonna be a backlash!

What does race have to do with McCain/Palin being better for the economy than Obama/”Rimshot” Obiden? SeeBS just being SeeBS.

The Democrats and their media allies are turning to a new, desperate, and very dangerous tactic. Rush talked about it on Friday, but he missed the mark. Rush said that Democrats are preparing the argument that racism was to blame when 0bama loses. It is, in my view, a far more dangerous strategy than that.

What Democrats are actually doing is setting the table for holding America hostage on election day. 0bama and his surrogates are race-baiting in order to agitate minorities in what will be the final tense days of the election. There will be an outright threat of racial violence and rioting if 0bama loses made in the final 48 to 72 hours. The goal is to intimidate America into voting for 0bama or face the consequences, much like the OJ Simpson jury was faced with finding OJ not guilty or watching LA burn.

Rush didn’t take his hypothesis to its natural, obvious conclusion. This is not about having an excuse the day after. This is about making a threat the day before.

These people are so dishonest it makes me nauseated. I can think of one negative adjective about every race I know, including typical white people. It doesn’t make me a racist, it helps me know how to deal with said people in order to assure a successful interaction. Think of it as “reaching across the aisle.”

I’ve read at least 6 articles today that referenced this same poll. I think the poll is seriously flawed with it’s methodology, but that’s another story.

But what’s interesting is the headlines. This one is the absolute worst. “Will Prejudice Trump the Economy”? These geniuses have narrowed it down to that one question before the first ballot is cast.

Why do these journalists try to oversimplify politics with labels and polls? Ridiculous.

I'm bigoted against empty suited, con men who are obviously blowing smoke as they try to ‘facilitate’, or ‘guide’, me to the ‘right’ decision.
I'm also bigoted against people who held a 20 year membership in a racist ‘church’ that blasphemes God and Christ. Regarding the church membership, I'm willing to listen to the person if he repudiates and repents from said membership - but not if they pretend its a non-issue (just more smoke blowing from the smoke-blower).

Yeah, I'm a bigot. I could care less about the content of melanin in the person's skin - but I'm a bigot...And despite what the Media tries to convince me, I find this Mr. Obama character more qualified to be dealing three-card Monty on the street corner, than to be auditioning for the highest office in the land...

This is really simple and you should not over think the issue.

If you are not black and vote against Obama you are a racist.

Accept it and move on.

It will save a lot of typing and free you up to read other material or get on with the household chores!

By the way, I have found nothing in the election laws that say I must vote for Obama because he is black.

(Well actually half white and maybe arab and muslim )

So, have a nice day now that you have come to grips with your inherent racism and move on to something productive.

I don't do that intimidation stuff real well. I know lots of people who feel pretty much the same way that I do about that.

As I've said before when discussing this "there"ll be riots" threat,

"5.56 be our friend".

They are sowing the seeds of “if you don’t vote Obama, you are racist.” They are now literally trying to guilt folks into voting for the unqualified, lying lout because of his color. They are “agitating” for Obama, geting in folks faces and crying “Prejudice! Prejudice!” They are delivering the veiled threat of the accusation that will be made if people don’t vote for him - the most toxic accusation in American culture, though it has worn thin in spots thanks to Jesse Jackson, Reverand Al, and now the good loud Rev. Wright.

My response: he is unworthy of office not because he’s black (but then again, that’s not really true - his name alone belies a more complex ancestry) - it’s because he’s a Marxist acolyte of Bill Ayers, his omnipresent yet never-acknowledged politcal godfather. Plus he’s a smug know-it-all brat who shouts down or tries to intimidate anyone he can’t outsmart, which is almost anyone. He thinks we “owe” the job to him.

I’m from Oklahoma. We voted JC Watts to Congress repeatedly. Of course, to Obama he’s probably not a real black, so that doesn’t count, I guess. Plus JC doesn’t throw like a girl. Can we talk about Clarence Thomas then? No? Well, then, there’s nothing to be said, except he accusation is meaningless.

Absolutely not. I'm voting for the economy. Which is why I'm voting for McCain/Palin.

Often enough made here as well, of all places! The marxist poison has penetrated deeply.

Too bad, Hussein new the rules and possibilities going into this race. If he can’t play with the big dogs then he needs to go home to Chicago and be a bat boy for the Cubs.

Now, since there is a real chance he could lose, he and the media are trying to make people feel guilty for even considering voting to an old white man.

This tells me two things: they will continue to hammer coverage of the economy over whatever Iran, Russia and Co. do because they think this is the best bet to get him elected. They must be seeing something in the polls that has them scared because I have seen several articles about this now.

My favorite part of this poll: Lots of Republicans harbor prejudices, too, but the survey found they weren’t voting against Obama because of his race. Most Republicans wouldn’t vote for any Democrat for president — white, black or brown,” AP writes.
